Meteorites Are Dangerous

We're glad to release the first collaborate game of WeMaG (Weird Man Games)!
We will make more games in the future and soon you'll be welcome to visit our website (when we finish it).
=================
The goal in the game is to protect a city from a meteorite rain (similarly to the classic "Missile Command"), using a cannon that can use laser beams to push and direct meteorites, as well as collect and shoot them at each other. There are two types of meteorites, and a collision between them is explosive. Hope you enjoy those explosions =D
See how long your city stays alive.

Nice

It's a nice little timewaster you've made. I like the graphics, good but simple simple and they fit the game. I have no problem with cursor control, only thing that takes some getting used to is that when you move the cursor the turret follows slightly behind and then goes a bit too far before wobbling back to where your cursor is at. Of course this is intentional, but it was the only thing i found a bit awkward about it at the start. I've no problem with it now though.

Overall a good game. Keep it up!

well

I agree with the comment from below on the mouse theing, but if you close the popups on mine during the start, they dont show up again. ^_^

Could do with some work

The concept and design of the game is very good. However, I believe it could do with a number of improvements.

Firstly, it's annoying as hell when you're trying to play the game and all these instructions and hints keep popping up all over the screen. Maybe if you had a small bar at the top of the screen with hints, that would be better.

Also, what didn't really help was that the cursor control is very haphazard. When I tried moving my mouse, sometimes the cursor followed, and sometimes it didn't; this made the above point even worse when attempting to click on the next button in the hints and instructions to get them out of the way so I could annihilate asteroids.

I don't know if that's just me and the fact that Linux Operating Systems don't fully support flash, but in other games it seems to cope fine. Wait and see what everyone else says :)

All in all though, a nicely thought out game, and I believe it has the potential to be a very good game if you tweak it as per the above made points. I hope to see some more great games from you in future :)

peace out xx
