The Landing Game

Author Comments

A simple game where you have to land the plane and land it good. It's just the 1 level.
The better the landing the better the score. Land as close to the threshold as possible and as softly as possible for a higher score.

EDIT: Updated the game to make it easier.

Actually the game started out not as a game but a physics simulation. That didn't work out so I tried to hack it into a game. If more people find the updated version playable, then I'll probably rewrite it from scratch and turn it into a real game ! :-)

Flight #1337 nonstop to LOLand

Woot 414pts though it felt like flying brick heh now try doing that with the space shuttle . thats gotta be a pain. Throttle felt a little slow maybe thats just me though.

Awesome game

You should make levels that go from easy to hard and add highscores, too.

challange in small package

Gave me a headache, but I didn't stop trying until I landed. Can be addictive

helloworlder responds:

Thanks for the 9! From the reviews the overwhelming reponse is that the game's too hard.

So, I'm working to make it easier now :-)

Took me a while..

Took me 15 minutes to land it for the first time. I got a score of 114
The game's a realistic simulation, which explains why its so hard. But I have to agree realism took away a lot of the fun.

helloworlder responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I agree ,that 15 minutes is too long . I've updated the game to make it somewhat easier.

I challenge YOU

The AUTHOR, to land that plane. Not even Chesley B. Sullenberger himself could land that thing.

helloworlder responds:

The game has been updated to make it a bit easier. Continued feedback appreciated.
