Monster Breeding

Share Collapse

Author Comments

The objective of the game is to breed a perfect monster. You can buy monsters in the shop and mate them with each other. You can then sell the offspring or use it for further breeding. Each monster has a number of parameters that define its quality and, to a great extend, its price.

balance malfuction

greate game!
but the first two tries i had monsters but no clients, so my monsters starved.
then i had enough clients but no monsters, my rep runned out and i lost.
then again i had monsters but the clients only payed 20-40 coins max, so my monsters staved again. see the problem? you should add the option to sell monsters to the store for about 50 coins, it would keep the game running.
but its still a greate game!

goodish game game

It was an ok game, but after awhile the clients didn't come anymore.
Nice mixer :) lol.
But I also agree with up-a-notch it would of been a ten if there was free mix mode without limited money and without the picky clients (well none at all).
I like/sorta love this game.

2 problems

nice game but 2 things

1. 1 more monster should become available in the shop every 5 turns

2. make a free play mode cause I just wanna mix monsters

Too many clients, no monsters

Good game, weird with the clients tho, they just kept on coming, I had around 30 clients and 4 monsters haha.

One Major problem that I noticed (and this has been brought up before) is the clients. At the beginning of the game I had lots of clients but not very many monsters, the clients were offering alot total but I couldn't meet their needs with what I had. When I had finally built up a decent monster heard they stopped comming and the few that did come barely offered enough money to feed a couple of my monsters for one day. You really need to gradate the in-flux of clients so they don't come to you before you are even capable of providing what they want, so they don't undercut horribly (or where you can sell animals to the store or some other source of income). The way it is now it seems like blind luck if you manage to get exactly what you need to survive. It is a good concept though. I just think it is a bad execution of that.
