I really like how the intermission/upgrades-weapon plays out.

Good, with a few tweaks.

I liked the game. I spent several hours with it tonight and that mostly says it's accomplishing its purpose, but there were a few points I felt could be addressed. Firstly, armor pickups: For some strategies, picking up heavy armor and losing your kevlar isn't an upgrade, and since there's no way to equip older armor the way you can guns you have to pay to buy your old kevlar back. Also, I once picked up leather armor and in the upgrades screen found I'd been equipped with that over my kevlar. This doesn't usually happen so I'm guessing it's a bug.

It would be nice if your character's sprite reflected the character you chose instead of being a generic guy in a yellow shirt. The contrast helps the player stand out on the battlefield but it just looks lame.

It would also be nice if you just got rid of the escort missions. Seriously, nobody likes escort missions. They can unfairly favor certain builds too; relying on speed and mobility is a problem when you have a slower, stupider AI trailing behind you. She doesn't trail very close either, which makes that even more of a problem.

this game has a few bugs but it is amazing

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars

great game

my huge complaint though is your player starts off moving WAY WAY WAY too slow...

Stupid useless girl stands there and gets beaten. No purpose but to give the game a shot of artificial difficulty which is, frankly, unnecessary. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice game... but I won't be playing it again.

Rated 3 / 5 stars

I stoped playing after getting a girlfriend.. that just ruined the game for me... I had been upgrading speed to be able to just run away and shoot backwards, but that was just useless when you had to protect your girl...
I guess i would have played the game through if that hadn't happened (I don't know if you have to proct her the whole game, but I just couldn't be bothered to find out)

Lren 2 englesh

This game was quite good... But you're english just took away any sense of danger or worry... I just ended up laughing every time the game told me something :P

But apart from the funny english... The game itself was decent... But I don't think I'll be playing it again.

Don't Stop Here, It's Bad Country!

THIS GAME IS: Excellent.
GAMETYPE: Top Down Shooter

Visuals: 4/5 (Good graphics, but seemed to have too many different styles.)
Gameplay: 4/5 (Great gameplay, good fun turning zombies into bloody stumps.)
XP System: 4/5 (The building up was a a great addition, but needs balancing.)
Story: 4/5 (Though I tend to be a strong critic here, the story served its purpose.)
Overall: 4/5 (Good fun, and a step above similar games in some respects.)

its ok

just music is annoying

A let down.

I feel a little harsh writing this. It is clear that you've put alot of time and effort into this game, but I personally think you've put TOO much effort into this. It's aestetically displeasing since there is so much information on the screen. It's basically sensory overload, it would benefit from being simplified in terms of backgrounds. Hell, after seeing the 'shop' screen I wanted to turn it off. There was just TOO much.

The music is fairly OK. Not to my taste but it suits the game well so I have no complaints.

The gameplay is stright forward. I do however urge you. REMOVE THE GIRLFRIEND. It makes it way too difficult to progress and there is no chance in hell that I'll finish the game because of that 'feature'.

In terms of the shopping and stuff, it's fairly well and there is a nice variety of weaponary and upgrades. I think it would have benefitted from being split apart so having less information on the screen at a time. I know I keep complaining about the ammount of visual information but it's like opening a book to have an enjoyable quick read and finding it's like 10,000 words long and filled with technical terms. Your first instinct is not to read it, but to put it down.

Overall, it is a good game, it works and there is alot too it. I just feel that you've put too much effort into it and made it more complicated than it needs to be.

Best of luck with everything and I type this review with respect intended.

Quite hard, but addicting.

I'm only at level 17 yet (dancing around on the from dusk till dawn quote), but the game is quite challenging for me (yes, I suck), good. Sometimes a level is noticably easier than the one before though. The graphics are good. The storyline and characters could have used just a bit more depth, as could the looks of this guy, that looks the same no matter who he is or what armor he's wearing. I miss melee weapons, I like bashing arround, I picked a character with one in his hand just for that. ;) I mean, ammo is so expensve... Plus that when enemies get close to you they're hard to kill with a gun, they don't get hit a lot in that position. I can see an amazing amount of work went into this, and although it didn't turn out perfect, this one gets two undead tumbs up, and a 9/10, and a 5/5.

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars

Kill, shot and blow things up

I like it :)
That you are able to pick characters with diffrent skills.
that you must kill and destroy alot of things just to survive :D

Rated 4 / 5 stars

Unfortunatley Poor Theme

With all the effort put into this game I'd love to see it do good but It's hard to enjoy such a thing from where I stand. I like theme and storyline in games, the least you could do was make it like killing monsters or aliens. If it were up to me I'd make it war, remove the unrealistic weapons and change the characters and stages. I' sorry just how it is, it's unenjoyable.

Rated 4 / 5 stars

Dont play this game

..not until the creator fixes some SERIOUS balance issues like:

-Shells and batteries costing INSANE ammounts of gold compared to other ammo
-Some weapons were not as powerful as they should be like Tomy plasma and flame guns
-Flame guns not having the proper aoe of a fucking flame gun

-Cant sell things (wtf?)
-The actual status gain seems inexistent to the actual thing (like 1 point equals 1% of more accuracy or 1% more movement speed)
-You dont know the actual max status so you gain the "double reload speed"

If you can fix these and the fact that you are protecting a retarded girl who you can't see her hp,then it's fine.

Rated 4 / 5 stars

Very excellent...well, mostly.

I loved this game from the get go. It is easy to tell that you put a lot of hard work into this, and it shows in the overall quality.

I'm afraid the otherwise perfect face of this flash game is scarred by a nearly unforgivable feature: The mother #$%@ing Girlfriend!!!

Protecting her in early levels is no big deal, but during later levels (specifically ep. 4 Stage 7) it is nearly impossible to win! She is slow, weak, unresponsive, and nothing but a pain in the ass (points for realism, however.) I mean, I walk around with a laser minigun in a carefully planned circle around the mass of enemies, firing heated plasma into hordes of baddies, and I expect the Girlfriend to follow, staying just out of reach of their gaping maws. But then, at the most strategically inopportune moment, she turns a 180 and gleefully embraces death at the hands of the hungry masses. It is as if she is determined to get either herself or I brutally killed.

Seriously, if you could make her faster, smarter...and maybe armed...I would be able to, in all good conscience, give you 10/10 and 5/5.

Really neat!

The overall concept is not new, but you manage to implement it quite well. Nice upgrade system, shop and gameplay, graphics. challenge, overall ballance and everything else. 10/10!

Go for it!

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars

10/10 or...?

I like this game really much, but PLS stop my girlfriend. Just do it :D

And, if i hover mouse over +/- from CharacterStats like Strentgh, it shows me the weapon Uzi to buy. Fix it, and you will have my 10 stars! 5/5

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars

Bitch, I hate her.

Anyway, nice game! Lotta guns, action, enemies... Too bad that this BITCH made me lose a lot of times (im playing on a notebook, mouse aiming is awful).

Congrats for the game!

some if you get Game Over it's Death lol

Rated 4 / 5 stars

Menu is confusing and what the hell is happening, very hard to understand

Rated 2.5 / 5 stars

Jesus fucking shit.

The game was fun, until you forced us to protect some stupid bitch that doesn't know to run away from zombies. Seriously, that's some bullshit.

Rated 3.5 / 5 stars

The music gets annoying

I didn't see any option to mute music, if there's one, make it bigger and easier to notice please.

Rated 4 / 5 stars

Just another one. (Sigh)

Just another average flash zombie game, played them all and personally think this genre of flash gaming is dead (no pun intended). A for the music though, thought it was pretty catchy. 8/10 for this game.

Rated 5 / 5 stars

A Funny thing you have here...

Some of the weapons and power ups looked kinda like very basic fallout art, like from Fallout 1 and 2. And then... You toss in inspiration from the 5th Element? I like it my good friend. The game play is a above average, because in most zombie killers you can carry a pistol, rifle, machine gun, rocket launcher, armor, sub machine gun, rail gun, toy train set, buster sword (FF7), brick on a stick, and still run the same speed, in this you have gone the next step. Sure you can carry all that, but lets hope you have raised your speed stat sufficiently, otherwise, you'll be a snail. I really liked the way this is presented also, but the enemies is where you lost some points with me. Zombies with swords and shit? Come on... I mean that's new, kinda, but really? A tad unnecessary. Especially since you have fuckin' Romero's zombies running and chasing you and shit. But because of the cool little... Hmmm... References I felt you had made, you made up those points. :) Good job man!

Rated 3 / 5 stars

Decent game, but lacking

I have to say, I'm a little disappointed.
-Pros: This is a fun game for a while. You've got plenty of upgrades and weapons in here; that's something that a lot of zombie survival games are missing. Variety is the spice of life as they say. The music was fairly appropriate for this genre and style (fast paced).
-Cons: There were various grammatical errors throughout the game. Enemies weren't that distinctive. There was no tutorial in the game, just random message boxes that told you what to do. It would've been nice to know how to use my grenades when I was getting swarmed. The difficulty spikes on the third level, where you should still be getting the hang of it and you don't have enough money to properly upgrade you weapons. There was no ability to change the difficulty in-game, you just had to 'wing it.' There was no save feature here either, but at least you put a continue feature in. The AI for the girl was really poorly programmed, she wouldn't run away or even stay next to you when you moved away. I think she took one hit from a zombie and died as well. (A hint for everyone else, you don't have to keep protecting her after that level)
-Suggestions: You really need to get someone to help you with your English. The grammatical errors really took away from the 'serious' feel of the game. The cutscene where you first meet the girl involved something about cutting her hair and the weather. There was supposed to be a joke in there somewhere, but due to the crude grammar, I really didn't get it. Please make your enemies more distinctive. Your enemies were mixed pretty well, but you don't have the time to appreciate it. They come at you so fast, you really don't have time to tell which one takes more hits than the others. The only thing that really separated them was that they were different colors. You could have had the tougher ones be larger at least. I assumed that was going to be the case when I saw the tank-looking thing in the beginning credits. Your character doesn't change color or look any cooler when you buy new armor either. This shouldn't be the case. When I buy sweet new expensive armor, I want to see it on me! The yellow trenchcoat or whatever the character wore the entire time was not motivating at all. Even the character himself looked exactly the same, no matter who you were playing as. That really took away from the the distinction of the game. Also, why were the 'zombies' able to come out of vehicles? I'm assuming you meant they were able to drive them? I'm starting to wonder if these things really are zombies, and not just a bunch of crazy, multicolored, bloodied miscreants waving plastic swords and running angrily at you.
*I thought this game was going to be a 'step-up' from other zombie games with it's highscore and cool intro screen, but unfortunately I was disappointed. If you address a few issues here and there, and especially fix those grammar errors, then you'll have a much better game.

but kinda played out it's another zombie survival game, alot of cool upgrades but still kinda repetive

Rated 4 / 5 stars

Almost perfect, but the bitch ruined it..

Seriously, that god damned girlfriend had such terrible AI that I had to stop after the 3rd level with her. Other than that, and not knowing what the different enemies were, it was great. Also, why does everyone think that this is a zombie game? No where does it say anything about zombies..

Rated 4 / 5 stars

A few things.

I enjoyed this game. However, there are a few things I would have changed.

(1) Epic waves are cool, but bosses are also fun.
(2) I liked your choice of music, it suited the game, but it could use some variety.
(3) I do love movie quotes and although I recognised most of them, there were some I could not place. In this, I would reference your source. First, it is always good to acknowledge where it came from (to avoid getting sued and all) and it's good for players like me who just want to know things.

Apart from that, it was a nice solid game.

awesome, i love the upgrades, love the different gameplay levels. graet music. gets harder as you go, very challenging. kinda hard to protect the chick, she didnt do very much, really anything. thats the only problem, the girlfriend. but i still think it rocked.

Rated 5 / 5 stars

great zombie game

I like it, its like boxhead only better (PS how you get past the levels with the girl is have them attack you instead

Rated 4 / 5 stars

Great game.

This is an awesome game with the wide variety of weapons, the loads of enemies, and the large amounts of blood, but the game gets very difficult later in the game. This is mainly because of the dark stages an the girlfriend stages. In the dark stages you vision is really limited and the enemies are hard to see so you could get killed easily. If you don't move your flashlight around constantly you're gonna get ambushed by many enemies. The girlfriend stages are also really frustrating. Its hard to tell the difference between her an the enemies in the heat of the moment, and she isnt armed, so you have to kill enemies AND protect you girlfriend AND dont get killed yourself. With all these problems aside this is one of the best online shooters around. Great job. A sequel with no girlfriend stages, no darkness stages, the ability to set your difficulty, and a survival and/or sandbox mode would be freakin awesome!

some hints

- If you need money - invest in luck. luck 8-10 will give you a lot of money bonuses.
- Do not forget about perception - making maximum damage allows you to kill enemies faster an saves your ammo. Simply saying - increasing perception you directly increase damage of any weapon.
- Pick character wisely, "Hulk" guy is slowest character,
- girl protection missions will be easier if you have some close-range weapon. Acid-gun or flamer. And be sure you have enough grenades. In those missins best tactics is to hold position.
- grenades will not hurt you or girfriend.
- give attention to guns descriptions, short range weapon will do minimal damage on big distances, shotgun for example can kill any zombie in one shot when he is close to you, but on the screen-long distances shotgun is even worse than first pistol. Weapons like deagle or any gauss can kill or at least hurt several enemies with one bullet, use them to shoot a crowds.
- use Q button - quick switch between weapons (current/previously used).

and finally:

Neat game

Srsly nicely done. Only one complaint, though:
the girlfriend was shown headshotting three dudes in her cinematic like it was no big deal, but in reality SHE'S COMPLETELY USELESS
I don't want to figure out how to go through the game without having her die, so i dunno about the rest of the game's features. So here's a rating for what I've seen so far.
