It's very similar to old school beat-em-up titles in the sense that it has its difficulty level from reaching your objective, fighting off waves of enemies and making proper use of your ammunition. It does get a bit repetitive, but I suppose the goal is to see how long you can go on without dying, like said older titles.
It seems the majority of the reviews from people voting negatively for the game are either complaining that it's from Adult Swim or simply because they feel it's "too hard." I like how those complaining about it just being an AS title are willing to ignore the fact that Newgrounds is filled to the brim with terrible amateur flash videos and games just because a big company is posting their own material on this site. In the case of people complaining about it being too hard...cry some more and learn to play games like Ninja Gaiden (and I mean NES Ninja Gaiden, not the current gen titles), Castlevania (again, NES Castlevania) and Contra. Once you've played and understand those types of games, then you'll learn this isn't as hard as you make it out to be.
It's not that bad, the game play is good and you get to kill zombies, but this game just gets borin after you've played a few levels.
Although, theres a problem with the melee weapons, when you use it and you did not hit any zombie it still uses 1 ammo, it shouldn't be like that, anyway great game i enjoyed it very much
p.s. that hooker is HOT!
Slick but boring
Well animated, sharp looking.
But, this game is just the enemy of fun. Why is it that the majority of the time, when you find the "tricks" they're instantly killed by zombies. And at some points there's ridiculous amounts of zombies, but sweet f&%$ weapons, since there's not much room to move around it's kind of annoying.
It would of been nice if you put the money to use and let the player buy items and weapons with it.
I'm not a fan of Adult Swim posting their washed up games here after they no longer are fresh on their own site but I digress...
I can understand guns running out of ammo but why do melee weapons have ammo? When I bash zombie hookers in real life with a golf club it doesn't just vanish after I swing it 24 times. And I guess one could argue that after so many hits it'd break but the fact that if you swing at nothing it'll still run out so that debunks that reasoning...
It's not really that fun. In fact it reminds me me of something an amateur could make with Game Maker. Not great.
