This is my first stick animation so don't be too harsh. This was a project in my college and I thought that it was kind of alright. But bare with this through the end, if it wasn't for the ending, my animation would not be good enought to be submitted on this site.

eh. :\

no. that was bad. but you tried, so good for you.

great

I thought that this was a great first attempt. While the animation wasn't as smooth as it could be, it was still pretty well animated. I also liked the use of the music in this. I liked the ending too. Gives you the ability to think up your own ending.

Good start

Good start! =) I was a little sad that you didn't animate the "ban" attack! =P

Is you make stick figures, try harder.

I am sorry to say that, but the animation wasn't that smooth. Its good to try different moves with stick figures and you got most of "stances" right. I am sure you can see how the "black" throws "pink" at one speed. You gotta try to accelerate or slow down here to get the feeling of gravity and real ass kicking ; ) While you at Stick figures the most important thing IS the way they are animated since you can't show of with great art skill. It has more to do with movement. Try next time to make the stick figures a little bit smaller, add a floor, maybe some walls and a background. You can also try to use the Blur effect for frames were they get really fast in they moves (like the human eye can't catch them clear anymore). At last insert some sounds for punches, kicks, throws, special attacks and try to figure out what martial arts looks like. There are so many different types of martial arts outside the world. Search for Videos or Pictures and look at their stances and movements. Muay Thai is something really as kicking and Kung fu is defenitely "art" in that way.

Tuggieman responds:

I respect your review and I can say that I only used this flash as a test. And this is my first animation I have done so yea, it is expected to be kind of noobish. usually I only take advice from people who are better than I am in animations, seeing that you have no submissions on your account. I did have the opportunity to put in sounds, but like I said, this is a test animation, its not something to take seriously. I will get better, so just cut back and the reviews unless you have the experience to back up your advice. or else no one will listen. but thanks anyway.

Excellent First Submission. Short but Sweet

A really good first attempt. You should definately keep going!
