I concur with Boltfox

I'm rating this a 5/10 because, to me, this wasn't terrible but it equally was not great. The pace seemed rather slow, and I only watched the whole thing as I was waiting for something to happen. The animation was good, but the imagery was so random to me that I honestly don't know what the storyline is going on here, even after reading the blurb about it under the icon. The one saving grace from reviews seems to be the music, which didn't do anything for me either. Maybe it's because this is the first time I heard it and the video didn't resonate with me, or maybe because I heard her do so much more with Tarboy.

I stared at the two ravens at the end for about 10 seconds before I noticed the video ended because it was as random and slow paced as the rest.

Ouch, that was kinda blunt. Lemme try this another way >.>

You clearly have talent, your animation and artistic ability is spot on, I only wish you do your entire next animation as colorful and bright as the final bit with her iris changing colors. I understand you were going for the Nightmare Before Christmas and Wizard of Oz 'boring and gray to super colorful' swap at the end, but I think doing that method ultimately hurt this a great deal. So be colorful!

Lovely... the way you catch how the bass piano sounds... how it feels... really nice.
Armaggedon feeling..

It's hard to give a review of this video, since I heard the song long before hand. The difficult part is that everyone has their own interpretation of what was happening in the song. We all have the basic idea, but that's the only common part. As such, I am torn between rating it on its own and based on what i thought it should have been.

In my mind, I always saw this as more of an action sequence, put to music. This was enhanced by the march in the beat. You animation was a contrast to this, making it feel awkward. I also imagined the enemies to be closer to humanoid, perhaps not human looking but close, so your satellites were throwing me off a bit too.

Setting those aside, however, and the animation is very well done. The style is consistent, even to the music (I did imagine something like this, grays with red, but more red than that) and the story is told well. The angles could have been done better, and the repeat of animation was avoidable, but I liked the ending, the tear and eye color. The crows seemed a little out of place, but so would any replay menu, so it's better to have something natural.

Overall, this is a decent animation set to an awesome song. Not quite good enough to match, but not so far off you'd blam it. I think the people rating this 0 are just too attached to their version to see this animation as a good one.

Not bad!

I rate it 7 because i found the animations really nice (compared to me ^^) but the "0" guys maybe found your style too much "Burtonish". i like tim burton yes but i think too much burton kill the burton ^^ well it's my opinion! Overall i think this is a nice short anim! good job
