A movie about longing, dreams, loss, and time travel. AWESOME.

So I made this movie a few years ago. It was finished just before I started work on AwesomeRaptor. It remains the longest flash movie I've ever made. There is no dialogue, and it originally didn't even have music. And that's the main reason I never uploaded it.

But it has music now! Thanks to Chris Zito's (amazing NG voice actor and pretty cool artist too) massive music library, I was able to tune this thing up with some... tunes.

I really hope you guys like it, but if not... that's cool. Let me know what you think!

EDIT: Thanks for daily third and front page! I love you Newgrounds, and your leader Tom Fulp. <3

Also, to all you guys claiming the movie has no ending... it does. Know that part where the movie stops and the replay button appears? That's the end. The story has an intentionally ambiguous conclusion that is meant to inspire personal interpretation and conversation. Any more traditional ending I could've included would've robbed the viewer of the opportunity to really think about the movie's message. Thanks for watching!

Great but... what happens?

CLiff hanger!
;^; does he get her back?

spanio responds:

It's not really a cliffhanger. There will not be a sequel.

Think of it this way.. if you were in the room with him when he used his machine, you'd be the last person in our time/world/whatever to see him. Whatever future he found for himself, we can never know.

The ending is meant to make you reflect on yourself, not really consider his fate.

Did he die at the end?

The story is really good: I think eldadaman summed it up the best. You made us understand the character wholly, and that was really good.
Graphics were really good, I liked the animation and how fluid it was.
Music was really good, it really told the mood on each scenes. It was professionally done, and if original, props go to the artist. The music reminded me of those Pixar shorts at the beginning at each film.
The ending leaves much interpretation, it didn't leave much room on whether he died in a explosion or went back. Would be great to see the real ending if unfinished, or was it intentional?

spanio responds:

The music I used has existed for years. So yeah... it's not an original score. Lame, I know. Sorry!

Unfortunately, there isn't really a "real ending" and this movie is (as is) finished.

Great movie

Funny, charming, makes you think (a little), good animation, fitting music.
