A movie about longing, dreams, loss, and time travel. AWESOME.

So I made this movie a few years ago. It was finished just before I started work on AwesomeRaptor. It remains the longest flash movie I've ever made. There is no dialogue, and it originally didn't even have music. And that's the main reason I never uploaded it.

But it has music now! Thanks to Chris Zito's (amazing NG voice actor and pretty cool artist too) massive music library, I was able to tune this thing up with some... tunes.

I really hope you guys like it, but if not... that's cool. Let me know what you think!

EDIT: Thanks for daily third and front page! I love you Newgrounds, and your leader Tom Fulp. <3

Also, to all you guys claiming the movie has no ending... it does. Know that part where the movie stops and the replay button appears? That's the end. The story has an intentionally ambiguous conclusion that is meant to inspire personal interpretation and conversation. Any more traditional ending I could've included would've robbed the viewer of the opportunity to really think about the movie's message. Thanks for watching!

Great but... what happens?

CLiff hanger!
;^; does he get her back?

spanio responds:

It's not really a cliffhanger. There will not be a sequel.

Think of it this way.. if you were in the room with him when he used his machine, you'd be the last person in our time/world/whatever to see him. Whatever future he found for himself, we can never know.

The ending is meant to make you reflect on yourself, not really consider his fate.

Good story

It was a good story where everything came together and flowed pretty well. Music selections could use some work. I enjoyed the character style. And I got a kick out of the fact he didn't build the time machine tall enough for him to stand up all the way inside of it lol.

And everyone else was talking about how smart he must have been to build a time machine. Not smart enough to take measurements of himself before constructing the damned thing! Ha! Thanks for watching.

It was great..

I like the fact that the guy needed to choose from two situations he wanted and finally goes for the girl. Makes you think about what we really need in life, as someone said already? Well done. The music was a nice touch also.

spanio responds:

And that's really what life is all about. You have to choose between doing for yourself or doing for others. It's a rough road... and no life should go completely without either.

It makes you think

You pass your life very unhappy, and when a great opportunity, you focus on it, thinking it'll make you happy, but then you realise you had everything to be happy, but the conclusion is unconcluded. What happens next?

spanio responds:

The problem our protagonist had here was that he didn't recognize the good things he already had in his life... and set his sights towards personal goals that eventually left him alone and even more unhappy. Thanks for watching!
