okay, heres the rundown
i am giving this a four:
This game has amazing potential, i'll give it that (reason im giving it a 5/5)
It lacks the fast pace of an shooter/escape style game. The graphics are not that bad, i have seen worse, but hey, sometimes simple is better =)
on another note, the changing colors give it a retro style effect which is very nice.
the game needs music of some sort. The story as Wulffy stated, needs A LOT of work. If you make a second one, add more levels and a more indepth back ground on the player(this game strikes me as the "I was a normal drone like everyone else, until i learned of a better life. a free life" kinda game)
Back to the concept of the graphics. They're not the best, but they are not the worst either. The characters could use more detail while keeping the monotone black/retro(lol, rave) color scheme. Make the characters less blocky and maybe more baddies would help.
The game also needs more than one boss, maybe three? not sure, i'm not a boss person unless its either a hot chick with large knockers or Vergil from DMC3
Finally, just as a personal preference, maybe a character creator thats unlocked after beating the game's main boss? being able to customize the main character would be sweet.
Anyways, thats all i have to say. and might i add, this is my first "actual" review of a game =] praise me!
whoops, off topic... Anyways, this game has amazing potential and you would do well to maybe come back to it someday and make it better ^_^ of course, thats entirely your choice, not mine. decent game, high potential, 5/5 votes sadly 4/10 stars (sorry)
