Rated 3.5 / 5 stars

eh not bad.

Well overall i liked the idea of the game. but you should have built on it a bit more. like actually had the guy say something when he got there... and the move pan thing should have actually made mouse move instead of just clicking. but other then that it was pretty simple and fun. Like the ipod cooking mama lols

To AldoGjoza

I study cooking, and I ahve work in quility restaurants, it is needed to peel stuff witha knife, the less you use your ahnds the better. For the sake of the food sanity and to prevent cross contamination.

Besides that, i do think the same you do... games quite repetitive, cuts aren't done that way, but for the pasta, oil is added at last, if you put a dash of oil in the salted water, the salt wont stick to the pasta.

You know its kinda overated a little repetitive but ok,still its very boring at times and at times you find yourself dragingalong because you got this far and just wanna finish the game. 5/10 just because the graphics were clean, cut and crisp.

Not so great

First of all.
You should give the option of actually taking off items from the table.
I put stuff down that I didn't really want to and then I couldn't take it off the table.
Stirring/mixing doesn't really require the player to actually move his or her mouse. You only have to click the arrows....

I'm assuming you really don't cook.
Many aspects of the game was not very realistic:

1. Peeling: you don't have to do it with a knife.
2. way too much oil when cooking.
3. adding ingredients was
4. Add salt when water is heating.
5. don't add pasta until water is actually boiled and bubbling.
6. fire should be lowered to low setting after pasta is added.
6. add a tad bit of oil into the water so pasta doesn't stick together.
7. Also much of the cutting was not even the proper way...
8. Desert: eggs should not be measured like everything else...

These are the very basics of cooking...

The scoring system is aweful.
Sometimes I can be way off the line and get an A.
Other times im on target, but get a C.

The ending was a disappointment too..

You need to work on this game...
Good Luck

Good, but could be better.

One of the better cooking games on the net, but not quite Cooking Mama status yet I'm afraid. The game was enjoyable, but it was flawed. For instance, the character said that she was in a rush, and yet there was no timer! It didn't feel very challenging - the worst score I managed to get was a B even when I was purposely trying to do badly! Also, there was alot of slicing involved and not much else, which made it feel very repetitive, I would've like to have seen more techniques such as cracking eggs, marinating, deep frying, rolling pastry etc instead of, what felt like, endlessly chopping vegetables.

On a positive note, the controls are very responsive even on a laptop, which is something that is very important in a game like this and precisely what alot of other cooking games lack. The graphics were great and the storyline was promising, it just needs a few tweaks.

Overall, good game and I have very high hopes for a sequel.
