I cant really work on real flash movies at the time (school started) and I also take advanced so this may be the best I can do until further notice.

Smooth animation
While it had nothing to do with clocks, it wasn't bad. The graphics were pretty awful, and the sound of the gun shot wasn't very good. Also, a background would have been nice. The animation was smooth, however.

A dueling pistol form the 17th century?
Unless you're planning a movie about pirates or the revolutionary war, I don't see why you chose that gun as a test.
I know there's a great gun tutorial here on Newgrounds. It should help you out. It teaches you how guns operate and how to create a handgun and properly animate it shooting.
