Pixelatrix Games is pleased to announce the release of our best point-and-click adventure game yet: Haven. Based on psychiatric practices and the treatment of the mentally ill in the (not so distant) past, Haven is actually composed of two games: Haven - The Hospital and Haven - The Old Asylum. You wake up in a hospital room. The staff is dead, a few patients are missing, and you're not feeling so good yourself.

Are you alone? Can you get out? Will you solve the mystery of Haven? In order to reach your goal you'll have to solve puzzles, confer with ghosts, unlock secrets, avenge past deeds, conquer evil, and restore faith in humanity. You have in your possession a pillowcase, a notebook, and a jack-in-the-box.

Are you ready? Come to Haven.

Edit: Thanks to everyone for playing my game! I really appreciate it. If you're stuck and you've tried everything, I've compiled some walkthroughs made by other players like you at my site. You can find the walkthroughs at the bottom of this page: http://pixelatrixgames.co m/games/haven-the-hospita l/

Pretty Fun

I like the game. The name immediatly reminded me of IT by Stephen King, and The Tommyknockers by Stephen King since the kid goes from the town of HAVEN to the town of DAIRE(Setting of IT)to go to the hospital. A great point-and-click game that had me stumped a few times.

not bad but...

It froze on me. I got stuck with a picture of an empty pillowcase when I tried to pull out the pliers. Might wanna check that out. Besides that nice work

PixelatrixGames responds:

I'm sorry my game froze on you...it's never done that to me in all the testing I've done. Can you help me figure out what's happening? If you don't mind, please let me know what Flash player version and what browser (including the version) you're using. You can check your Flash player version here:

Also, if you restart the game and click continue, is it still frozen or does it work now?

Not Bad.

For a point & click game - Pretty good.

A little handful of touch ups wouldn't of hurt a whole lot. In point and click games, I understand that normally the creator isn't great at animating (No offense intended) And that' one of the reasons they've started with point and click. Which relies on graphics and action script mainly.

Although a few things you could have added to make this game fall into the low 4's or high 3's would have just revolved around simple touch ups.
- Better graphics. More shading, More color, Posters that fit the 'portraits' scheme.
- Motion when moving from one place to another. This could be done easily with Vcam.

Overall, Good work. Keep it coming.
