It has been a long time coming, but we finally finished the latest Shamoozal cartoon, GFGames: How to Hook Up the NES. In this short, our very own Jacquo the Rabbit takes us through the steps of connecting the world's most memorable console, the Nintendo Entertainment System.

This project has been sitting on our plate for a long time now, and it feels great to finally have it finished. I can say for a fact that this is our best looking, and best sounding GFGames episode yet. Though ultimately how good it is, well, that's up to you guys to decide. We think you'll enjoy it.

To answer some questions, this short was inspired by the old 40s and 50s Disney Goofy shorts. The idea is take a simple concept, like hooking up a Nintendo, and making it much more complicated and tricky than it should be. The aim here is for more of a visual comedy. Of course, a lot of the ideas shown here are also many of the issues all of us dealt with when growing up during the NES age.

Thanks for reading and watching!

i remember the days if the nes haha
horrible horrible times.
the nes was the only game console only the owner knew how to fix. all your friends would come over and be like "hey yeah ok i know how to fix this!" but only YOUR way would work.

other than that great animation great voices all around nice video :]

Really, excellent video!

Very nice job!

Animation was great! Clean and crisp frame by frame and motion tweening, and some really nice artwork at the same time! This is some great visual work, my friend! You outdid yourself!

Sound was really good! Nothing sounded out-of-place or anything, and it was all very professionally pulled off! So, it was recorded at a studio, huh? Dang. I wish I could get that kinda' sound...

Plot was good, too! There's always some problems with setting up that ancient device! The AC adapter always seems to do that, too, just so ya' know! And plus, you definitely had to do the blowing on the case trick, which everyone most definitely should! I've always had to do that, and so has anybody who's ever played a NES.

Overall great vid, and congrats on all the awards you will soon get!
5 outta' 5, 10 outta' 10 and favorited!
