A cinematic point and click thriller.

Derived from latin "The pit/abyss" Vorago takes place in a small town off the interstate stumbled upon by a couple under most unfortunate circumstances. After the tragic loss of their daughter, Ira and Jonathan find themselves in a car accident with no direction. When the couple reach the nearest town, a loud warning siren sounds off as a mysterious fog covers the atmosphere.

Yes I love Stephen King's "the Mist". A lot of inspiration from that movie came about the development of the game. And the background artist inspired by "silent hill". So please try to enjoy the game. The bible is a reference to tell this story, and by no means to pose a "hidden" message or threat to the individual player.

Use Mouse to view certain portions of the area. The mouse icon will change in finding a clue, item, or object. Use Space bar to open inventory to use and combine items.

Update: Thank you so much newgrounds for all the great comments and Tom & Wade for front page! I have read most of them and I really appreciate your point of views and open minded attitude to the concept! Thank you again!

Most point and click games i play get boring but i found this one enjoyable and at times felt emotional for the characters. Although i felt the the toy car minigame was very hard and should of had a birds eye view for it rather than an awkward angle. I'd love it for a sequal to be made as it kept me wanting more.

IMPOSSIBLE without a walk-through!

look, if you wanna make point-and-click adventure you've got to make it logical! the trunk puzzle (NOT BOOT!) was especially misleading, why would a block of wood help you open a trunk in the first place!? and if i clicked on it 3 times and it dosent open, then this isent the object i use to open it, right? <click> son of a......and there is often NO CLUE whatsoever as to how to procede next when your stuck. im supposed to look in the trash?! why the hell would i do that? or how was i supposed to know to take the pen out of the husbens shirt pocket?, or to look above the dairy to find the "prank" tape? there where no ingame clues ANYWHERE WHATSOEVER! its often a matter of the players curser being in the EXACT spot they need to be accentendaly! thats just bad, man. really bad!
but, i gave you a 6, nothing lower because the 2 main saving graces where the mini games and the walkthrough. nice change ot pace to be hacking or blasting something. the animation and story where entertaining too, if a bit preachy. if you introduced this as a new twist to the zombie genere, MABY i would of been a bit more forgiving. you got great talent, just try to imagine your projects from a first timer gamers point of view, ok?

Awesome work!

The story was really awesome, well the god part isnt my taste but every one is allowed to believe what he wants to. Anyways, a great game, good thriller! Just one thing, the game with the RC-Car is really really hard and annoying the music makes it even more worse! Thats the only scene which really sucks! Edit the music or remove the hidden traps to make it a little more easier to do.
Keep going with that sort of games, maybe without the missionary background;)

Great game

I really enjoyed it. Graphics, sounds and atmosfere are really awsome.

The story is also interesting, but for me you has taken too much form "Mist". When you have wached this film, you just know everythingand there's no mystery.

Nice Fiction.

Although I strongly disagree with the message of the game, I thought it was well made and entertaining to play. I'm kind of taken aback by some of the extreme reactions (in user reviews) to the Christian scare tactics found in the game. How could anyone let a game, or an opinion (because that's all it is and will ever be) ruin their day? The fact is, different people believe different things, and when we condemn Christians for believing what they believe, we ("we" referring to non-Christians such as myself) feed into the same intolerance of other beliefs that Christians openly display. As far as I'm concerned, if you want to believe that humanity is going to be wiped out by flying monkeys, that's your right. Let Christians be Christians, and if they get in your face? Do what i do... ignore them!
