A cinematic point and click thriller.

Derived from latin "The pit/abyss" Vorago takes place in a small town off the interstate stumbled upon by a couple under most unfortunate circumstances. After the tragic loss of their daughter, Ira and Jonathan find themselves in a car accident with no direction. When the couple reach the nearest town, a loud warning siren sounds off as a mysterious fog covers the atmosphere.

Yes I love Stephen King's "the Mist". A lot of inspiration from that movie came about the development of the game. And the background artist inspired by "silent hill". So please try to enjoy the game. The bible is a reference to tell this story, and by no means to pose a "hidden" message or threat to the individual player.

Use Mouse to view certain portions of the area. The mouse icon will change in finding a clue, item, or object. Use Space bar to open inventory to use and combine items.

Update: Thank you so much newgrounds for all the great comments and Tom & Wade for front page! I have read most of them and I really appreciate your point of views and open minded attitude to the concept! Thank you again!

Not bad

Nice but its a bit difficult but I finished the game
Nice story too

I give it points on the gameplay and art (at times, it was just meh...)

The Vioce acting was very...bad. I think it would have sounded better if it was more natural. During the cutscense, I thought I was watching an elementary school play. It could have done without the overacting.

The minigames could have been taken out too, they only detracted form the fun factor.

The lack of plot development was a big problem for me, it seems like you went straight to the supernatural, so there wasn't much to go on to. It's almost like being told the end of a movie before you watch it.

I know the mist was an inspiration for this, but it seems like a watered down version of it, not much originality to it. The only thing that made The Mist a great movie to me was the ending, when they finally escape and then when they run out of gas, the main character ends up having to kill everyone but himself, then when he is the last one alive, help finally arrives. That's what made it a good ending, the tragic and defeated feeling of it.

It seemed kind of rushed to me, like we are just to assume certain things happen. The end was also really disappointing, made me feel like I just wasted time.

All in all, it was just meh.

saved by gameplay mechanics.

i usually play escape games for the story, and so i thought i'd be bored with this one, seeing as how it was inspired by stephen king. however, the gameplay was good enough to make me see it through. i actually had to use a walkthrough to get that pin..
good game. don't listen much to those that says the story sucks. i think so too, but, no excuse for lowering the score on a game with great gameplay.

Only newground game ive played

that made me really think about things afterwords i just hope its not that bad with the big guy comes back that would be wow...
