Hey guys, I’ve started work on a possible William and Sly 3. Follow me on facebook for updates!

This is probably my best game to date. I wanted to make something more accessible, as most of my flash games have been too complicated for my family to play. :3

I really hope you guys enjoy it, I think it's the most effort I've put in to anything. A big thanks to everyone who helped me test, and Tom and NG for the sponsorship!

As always, leave a comment! I love reading them.

EDIT: The game has version detection, but YOU NEED FLASH 10 to play it. If you have trouble loading the game, please send me a PM with the details.

EDIT: Because nearly everyone is saying they can't figure out the boss's pattern, I've made a slight change that should make it more obvious. Once the game update is approved I'll let you guys know and you can try again with the new pattern. *Alright it's up now*

If you're getting a black screen after the Newgrounds and Particlasm screens this applies to you. This might also help with the loading bar freezing. This was posted by a Kongregate user (thanks Knork):

"If the game does not load past the ads make sure that and are not being blocked in your hosts file. Which is located under C:\WINDOWS\system32\drive rs\etc
If they are, uncheck the "Read-only" attribute and edit out those two lines."

If this works for you let me know.

First of all, the graphics were fantastic. The programming is also flawless.

-The gameplay is not well explained. I was clueless about darklings and fairies and ruins until I actually encountered one.
-This game is far too similar to platforming games if've encountered in the past, without adding anything unique.
-There is far too much mindless wandering in this game.

Not that good...

I hated this game. I didn't understand the story, (if there was one), the gameplay was really boring because it got repetitive really quickly. The whole "jumping fox" thing gets old. I collected a couple mushrooms and that's it. You have to run from one side of the map to the other and push into walls hoping there are mushrooms there and it is just really boring. I didn't get the wings or anything because I didn't care. Sure the art and the music was good, but you can't have a game with just good art. I don't understand why these people love it. Tens are way too generous in my opinion. But a six because it's still better than most of the crap on here.

Alright well,

I don't see what good about this game. The graphics were alright but that is about it. The controls are what really got me. I would just like to hold down the arrow keys but the fox just stops for god damn reason.

I know that this review is most likely going to be rated useless seeing is how everyone seems to love this game but I just don't like it. Sorry mate.

i didnt entirely understand what to do....i kept aimelessly catching fireflies and activating the runestones...but it was so vast that in no time i had no idea what i was doing.....i loved the ur pixely-way of making games though....any help as to what i actually had to do instead of making sly jump around?

Light up all the runestones is it, basically, haha. Most people who like the game are completionists who try to find all the mushrooms.
