no way.

this game isnt good, it has bad graphics, 3 guns, bad music, and it never ends. so go make a better game.

well,this was ok

for programming this game desires a 9;thw movement was fluid and the controls easy, but for the jumping engine was bad,i seem that it doesn't recognice the floor well, like lennon is ricochetting against the floor permanetly.
the graphics were ok,but it didn't convince methe xombies were ok,but....well.....
this has a lot of potential, jut improve some thing and resubmitt it.

Plain awesome

I love the idea and the graphics. And the music rocks. Keep up the good work.

The Horde indeed

This game has a great deal of potential. Right now, it's lacking in the variety department. When I say that, I mean you need a variety of zombies, weapons, and possibly level design.
Make some zombies resistant to fire for example, or make some giant zombie enemy that's harder to kill.
Weapons could range from anything between a knife to a rocket launcher to even a laser cannon. Also making the hero reload would make things a little more difficult.
Level wise, you could possibly make like a subway level, or a sports arena. Seeing as how you're using The Beetles, you could choose a setting from the UK.
If you REALLY wanted, you can add a story into the mix, making this a not-so-typical zombie survival shooter. Adding simple power-ups like weapon damage increase, speed boosts, time-slow, or even double jump can make this game a lot more fun.
Good luck with your future work man, and I look forward to your future projects.

It was pretty good, but could have been better. For example, you didn't have to reload which made it very easy. And there were only like three different zombies, make a variation, please. There weren't that many weapons to choose from, and the molotov cocktail didn't explode on the zombies, it only exploded on the floor. And maybe even make an option to suicide, or kill the bandmembers.

Good one

Maybe some more songs, but other then that, I think it's agreat game :)

Its O.K

I mean if you can go 30 rounds with just the pistol, thats saying something, no limit on the pistol fire, so that makes it kinda OPed. No reloading with it makes it way to simple, you don't even need the machinegun or the molotovs

But not enough Beatles references, shouldn't Paul be there as a boss, he IS dead... And why isn't lucy in the sky, and I see no eggmen! So -2 >:(

its good

had fun playing with john while killing zombies
good random idea

Has lots of potential...

Running around as Lennon, killing zombies is awesome, but there isn't much variety. Its actually quite easy for most part, especially with the weapons not needing to be reloaded. There should be much more different zombies, not only 3. Also you should change the sfx for the rifle, it shouldn't sound just like the pistol. Over all good job, with some more work this can be a good game. Cheers.

It's an alright game. A little challenging. You should have worked on the graphics and gameplay a little more, and the song gets as repetitive as all hell, but it's alright.
P.S. Top on the leader boards, 766 kills. Beat that!

Fun, but easy.

I enjoyed this mostly because of the very concept of being John Lennon fighting zombies. I think you got the graphical style down, though the background texture could use work, and the platform could look more like a stage or wherever we're supposed to be. Also a few more varities of zombie couldn't hurt.

As said before that song got pretty repetitive but I barely noticed.

In all though I found if it weren't for the horde game type which has no ending this would be entirely too easy. The pistol is very powerful because of it's rapid clicking ability and not having to worry about ammo. Maybe if you made it so you have to reload after so many shots it would be better. I was doing very good with the pistol, and was reserving the machine gun for if they get on both sides of me in a crowd. By the time this actually happened I already stocked up well over 1,000 ammo for it. I never ran out of machine gun ammo, and in fact I had more than 2,00 after I lost, and this was towards the end when I starting using machine gun at all times. Maybe decreasing the machine gun ammo drops would help. And even when I used it it seemed a little weak. I think the main weapon you have to maintain should be powerful but rarely applicable unless you think it out.

The molotovs were great and worked fine, though they were hard to use towards the end due to the horde appearing immediately after the text. Maybe a setup time would be nice.

Another thing I found was I could easily camp the corner. While it's true that they come from each side, I just threw a cocktail at one side, waited for all the zombies to run into it, then could sit in the corner and easily pick off the ones coming from the other side. Maybe a solution for this would be that you also have to protect the band.

As for the health, I think health pickups would be nice, but for that to work you'd need to severely bring his health down, which I think would make it much more fun.

And finally more variation would be nice. I realize it's a flash game and they're typically one trick so it's more of a suggestion than a criticism, but maybe something outside the typical horde-see-how-long-you-can-live game type.

All in all it's a good concept and made a nice time waster.

And booyah, second place.

BUT liked your idea.

suggestion would be to add more songs and weapons

Good detail on characters; but it could use better zombie animations, such as them getting pushed back or showing damage by bullets. Also you should have more songs because the loop is kind of repetitive. Otherwise, good job.

great game

I really like this game. I remember playing it before.... only problem is that your API ad doesn't work.. you should try and fix it. I have a NG api ad tutorial as one of my flash submissions which could help you fix that problem.

One Baaaadd Trip

Not necessarily a "Bad" game, just needs a little tweaking. I like the idea of a Beatles based "Left 4 Dead" type of scenario, you just need to work on details. New songs other that the Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds loop. I couldn't get the weapons to work either... Good idea! Work on it some more. :D

Rated 4 / 5 stars

Now I like the game and everything about it...just the dynamic camera was hard to navigate with. Its kind of a shock when the Beatles were all about peace and love and not about...well ya' know...war and killing people. Even Zombies.

As a Beatles fan, this shit is pretty funny. Here's what I think you should to guarentee legendaryness.

Make it Tbe Beatles VS The Horde, have multiple character selection, bigger variety of bad guys, and also, after so many levels, the scenary, hairstyle, clothes and music should change, for example, first level is at the Cavern with all the boys in greaser jackets, then the Ed Sullivan show, with them all in suites and mop tops, then hanging out with bob dylan and jimi hendrix smoking weed or something, and so on and so on

This was a nice game, very simple but lots of fun to play. The music was on a decent enough loop and went well with the whole theme of the Beatles. The graphics were plain but still pretty good, getting a headshot was a nice comfort because the head splattered so it gave the game a nice feel, rewarding good shots. The controls were a bit awkward with the numbers being weapon changes but easy enough to get used to. Nice enough game anyway, different and fun for it.
