Hey guys! Here's the HALO Jump scene of my upcoming flash tribute to Egoraptor's Awesome cartoons: Crysis: Maximum Awesome. What this is, is a scene from the actual cartoon, slapped on two buttons, and called it a trailer. For those who don't know what the Awesome series is, it's a series of flash cartoons, that parody many popular video games, most famously, Metal Gear Solid (Metal Gear Awesome). They're fast paced, hilarious cartoons that are a riot to watch.

Sounds in this flash were taken from Crysis, Action Doom 2, Heretic: Beyond the Serpent Riders, Call of Duty 2, and the Freesound public gallery. I do not take credit for any of these sounds. They are property of their respective owners.

The music used is La Donna e'Mobile, from Andrea Boccoli.

Thanks to Egoraptor, for making the Awesome cartoons, Crytek for making me apply at NASA to get a computer that can run the game, and you for watching!

There's a Wilhelm Scream in your movie!

Well, to be entirely honest, the graphics in your movie aren't exactly up to par, but you've really managed to use your added sounds to the best of advantage in your flash, so it definitely makes up for it. I'm not sure if you intended the beginning to start off with the animation like that to parody Egoraptor's or if it is by pure coincidence, but it still worked out regardless. By the way, I noticed there was a Wilhelm scream used in your flash; where exactly did you find it, and can you pm me a link? :3

Sh0ckFyre responds:

Yeah, the art style of the Awesome 'toons, namely the very first of them, weren't exactly Da Vinci, and that's kind of what I tried to mimic in here.

Yes, that was a Wilhelm scream. I got it from Action Doom 2.

One thing shown

Soooo... this wasn't very good... but it shows you know how to use flash.. you just can't draw or write, and what was that about Halo jumping? I don't get it I thought this was going to be a parody of both when I saw that...

Plan ahead.. get the whole thing on paper as bullets or storyboard or just quick doodles or something get the jokes in there but try not to cut yourself short on recording time or editing the sound... I'm no good at flash myself but I know how and choose not to so I don't make films like this before I get any better, I'm going to stick to the art portal personally but hey.. keep it up you can only get better

Sh0ckFyre responds:

In the game Crysis, you're inserted on the island by a military operation called a High Altitude Landing Operation, or HALO Jump. It has nothing to do with Halo: Combat Evolved.
