The latest Captain Capitalism... Culture Clubbing.

This piece was inspired by what I thought Schoolhouse Rock was trying to teach me as a child.

It starts with a great opening sequence that was animated by Sam Deats.

Before you start debating American cultural tolerance and flaming me for slightly ribbing anime, keep in mind that unless you believe that I think that Menudo is actual a plot by Puerto Rican dissident leftists to takeover America, don't believe I agree with other stuff that comes out of the Captain's mouth.

I consider myself pretty patriotic, and I respect anime but growing up in a large extended family taught me that the way you show love is to rib something mercilessly.

Welcome to Satire.

Excellent animation, first of all. Second of all, folks, this is a satire. Of course most of what he says isn't true; it communicates points about ignorance, acceptance, what America is, and what it should be...through comedy. I agree that the comedic push could have been a little more without jeopardizing anything, but it was still quite good. And the effeminate lipstick villain was a fantastic touch. What anime is complete without a villain that lacks most masculinity? Well done.

Great animation, funny culture bashing

I liked the drawing on the anime scene in the beginning, the lipstick on the bad guy was a funny touch. An anime is never an anime without at least one chick with a massive rack and some strange tiny creature to follow the main character around acting "cute."

Great animation overall and funny conspiracy theories for the "hero."

people who vote high on this need to understand...

This series is only good cause the animation is excellent. The comedy is pretty stale. It's not that I cant laugh at jokes about America. It's that I don't think the jokes that were said were that funny, but like always I'm impressed with this guy's drawing skills

Um >.>

I couldn't follow his logic completely. Even the Captain himself seemed to struggle about the subject of Anime. He also made himself more psychotic then usual o.o;. But it was cute but this could have been pushed harder. However it may have caused more problems lol. Just like it's not good to bring up politics in conversation, it's not good to bring up final fantasy.
