Freaking enviromental bullshit. At least, that's how I interpret it. Decent animating, annoying music. Nothing else. I'm being REALLY generous.
G'day everyone,
Nothing too serious today. This is just something I made for my subject visual arts at school. The stimulus was pretty vague, we just had to represent the concepts of places and spaces. Just handed it in, so I won't know what mark I'll get for ages. I'd love it if you'd all tell me what you thought.
Thanks

Edit - Hey guys, the marks are in and I got 30/30! I'm sure this isn't worth that but I don't thinks my school's ever had someone with any experience animation hand something in, but I won't complain lol. Thanks for all your support =D

Kinda trippie
That was kinda trippy. What is the owl and city represent?
Cool.
No matter what other !)%?!%& say, I think its great :)
my opinion
Storywise, its a bit unclear what's going on, like why is the owl flying through the buildings, or why, however your goal was to represent places and spaces, right?
My suggestion would be to add more identifiable landmarks and make them more detailed in order to raise their visual importance. Otherwise they would just get lost along with the other mostly blank buildings.
As for the owl, my guess is that you wanted a realistic flight cycle, instead of a stylized one. It might be a good idea to research a little more about it. Its not so hard, just google it.
Music, well, i think electronic music has been overused to dead, it just doesn't have the impact it used to have. Im not saying get rid of it, but consider the other possibilities, along with the not so obvious ones. Other genres maybe.
Wings of the owl
When the camera's behind the owl, the wings are click able... button maybe? , anyways good idea, just could use a lil more detail to the city. Overall Pretty good
