You play a daring explorer named J who jumps up through the holes, avoiding large monsters. Each monster kicks you and you can fall down through the holes eventually losing a life.

Control keys are: arrows - moving, space - jump.

The game's prototype was originally made in 1983 by Universal for ZX Spectrum 16K version.

Found a bug

when you die you can still hit the jump button and you still get the dying sound

tnx for your appreciation and the bug report) Fixed it)

Retro's back!

Retro graphics, retro music, retro speed. Pretty good game actually, although the holes tend to get a bit fast.

tnx for your appreciation) we just wanted to make a game from Good Old Days ;)

Not too shabby

Cool game, cept that every time I move the mouse away it pauses.

A collosal headache from this game...

But I did like it quite a lot. The graphics were simple, almost verging on retro, and the sound fitted that retro sort of theme, so I am happy with that. You spiced it up by making it more and more difficult, which is good.

The only thing I think you should change is the key layout. Why not just use left, right and up for jump, instead of the spacebar? And why not just press any key to go to the next level? It means then that you don't have to move your hand all the way to the mouse to start the level (it feels like such a long way to travel, trsut me)

Other than that, I loved the game concept, and can see this being quite popular.

tnx a lot for the review) "up" button key added)

hmm

i dunno...
