Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

Make sure there are no youtube videos or other sources of flash (with sound) open. This will make the game not work

Z : Shoot
X : Shield
UP : Accelerate

Asteroids and enemies will be created to the beat of the music. Shoot asteroids for points and power-ups (firing for most power-ups is needed). When your ship spins out of control, turn the opposite way to counter-act it. You can use your shield to block damage it will regenerate over time. Blackholes will be created on large beats or changes in music, avoid them as well as the asteroids being drawn in. Meteor showers will send meteors moving in different directions. Meteors will damage asteriods/units but also your ship, unless shielded.

Warning: Color changing is not recommended if you have any medicial problems involving seizures or epliepsy. Sawfish Media and the hosting site(s) will not be held responsible for any personal injury. - Click the color changing button to turn off this setting

menus need work

The game was ok, it was a little hard to control the ship because it was so "loose" that I was all over the place. The biggest problem that I had was the fonts colors that you used to create your menus. The fonts sizes were too small, which made it tough to read and the colors that you used made it even worse. Not to mention they didn't even complement each other.

It's not working for me. so, I'm blamming,

It's a cool concept, but it's not working for me. Just in case It's not just me that is having this problem, I'll blam it. If it's just me, then This won't be blammed.

Lol. I couldn't even beat my own song.

Anyway, thanks for reminding me how annoying Asteroids really was. I could barely control the ship; most of the time, I couldn't tell where my ship was among the asteroids; and the powerups disappeared a bit too quickly. However, you do get points for being able to play to any song on the site. That feature was neat.

Awesome game

But you should make it so you can play songs from your own computer

Lieutenant Ramone

A real asteroids-esque game. Top marks for being able to play any song on this site, but sadly only by no. code for me. The ship felt a little too loose and the color combination failed miserablyso that lost marks. Also, a little too hard to tell your ship from the asteroids due to this and the looseness of the controls. I give it a very-good-meh score

Nice idea, some polish needed

I like the idea a lot, and for the most part it was fun, but there flaws that for me don't make me want to replay it:

1) controls. they feel "floaty" for as many objects and as chaotic as everything is on the screen, the game feels like it needs tighter controls (stopping on a dime, smaller turning radius, etc.) perhaps going to a control setup where you use the arrow keys to move and the mouse to shoot in a direction would be a better way to go.

2) more variety of enemies. It felt like there were all of 4 different kinds of enemies. bring that number up to 12 or more and it will keep things interesting.

But dude you forgot one thing.. Asteroids game have a reverse button as in the down arrow to go backwards. Because evrytime i get hit i spin out of control and destabalise and that would really help on the control issues.

P.S. try putting up a different variety of enemies

I really like the music in this game-most games don't allow you such a variety of different song choices.

I guess that some didn't like the "floaty" feeling- but I think that it gave it a more asteroid vibe as if you were in space.

The controls were good and there wasn't really a boring part or moment in the game- new things were always getting thrown at me which kept it interesting.
