Pretty Good

I agree with IHawkEyed. You could have made fun of radical Muslims or fundamentalist (fill in the blank), but the "Deity Convention" idea was pretty good. The Hindu elephant god smoking was hilarious!

The last bit with you and your friend (I'm assuming) was easily the funniest part. "Do you get horny a half-hour later?" = Instant Classic!

Slackman responds:

There are about a million fundamentalist sects I could have taken shots at, but I felt like an all containing criticism of religion was the best way to conclude this project.

I'm glad you liked it though. I'm sure my friend will be happy to know you liked that line.

Pretty good

This one was a little more subtle than the rest, I was sure that when I saw that there was a number 4 it was going to be about suicide bombers but hey

Anyway,
8/10 and 4/5

Slackman responds:

The problem with making fun of suicide bombers is that that occasionally provokes suicide bombers...

I'm happy you liked it though!

Improved :D

Great story line, haha, took me a while but it hit me.
And the voice acting improved so props.
Cant wait to see the rest.

Slackman responds:

Glad you liked it!

???

I really didn't get the joke in this one. Except for the whole Shinto thing. That one made me laugh. However, this wasn't nearly as good as your previous ones. Also, why didn't you make fun of Shintoism and Buddhism directly? You also forgot Confucianism and Daoism, although Daoism may be too minor of a religion. Also, you didn't make fun of atheism! Come on, man! And I know why you didn't pick on Islam, but come on! If you warn them beforehand, they've really got nothing to complain about! If you're offended by the subject matter, and you've been warned of the content before you watched it, DON'T FUCKING WATCH IT! I wasn't offended by part two at all, even though I'm a Christian (albeit a non-denominational one), and I even found it funny. So why are so many Muslims offended by even the slightest tidbit of negativity? Anyways, back to the animation! The art was good, and, as was true with the others, sound could've been much better. I really like your style. However, this one is inferior to the first three, because I couldn't understand most of the jokes!

Slackman responds:

The big idea behind this one is a tad more subtle than the rest of them. The big idea was that Anubis asks about who comes up with all the Gods presented, and then the computer freezes and we see the creators, who are just normal humans. The implication is that humans created the concept of God.

As far as confucianism, daoism and most of those other eastern religions, they'll have to wait for another time. There are plenty of religions I didn't tackle which are ripe for satire, I just haven't gotten around to it yet and I've got a couple other projects to focus on at the moment.

Anyway, I'm happy you liked it. Sorry you didn't like this one as much as the rest, it's a bit dependent on the rest and unfocused. In truth, these were originally shown together as one big project (with the exception of part 3), with this being the big conclusion at the end, and this piece specifically doesn't stand as well on its own as the others. The sound was actually far worse when I first started, to the point that the entire live half had to be rerecorded.

Anyway, thanks for the review!

holy hookers. lolz

watching that was like listening to someone tell me its a good idea to get get some hookers and blow after mass. (keep in mind im an ex-catholic) i left the church for personal reasons, but i love all of these videos, the catholic one is the best

Slackman responds:

That sounds like one hell of a story. I'm happy you enjoyed my work too.
