Epic, for real. Just perfect the story and the conclusion was everything perfect! I wish a part 2 ~Bruno-Brazil
The logic about this crime is somewhat special but
I love this Pastel Games, they are so stylish.
Enjoy it and expect no complicated gameplay,
just find all evidence ;)
If the lover did get the money, why were they in the safe? The wife came, the husband killed her and then the lover killed the man,but before finding out where he kept the money(stupid, but plausible) and that is why the place was trashed,so the final conclusion is not completely true! Also we can assume, that the woman dropped her phone while searching the place, but why would she leave a notebook with her pin there and why would the incriminating message be marked s 'unread'? How did the lover know when to visit the man then ,why would she carelessly 'forget' her lipstick and the notebook and misplace her phone, but be careful enough to bleach everything and doesn't everything seem too convenient?
This game is pretty awesome, the art is very good, and the atmospher is very noir. I also managed to get the best of the two endings on my first try! Great job making this dude! I'm now going to play the other two parts.
Introduction movie was good. The detective was very keen to investigate this case.
Although the game was in black and white, I was able to gather most evidence and items except the cell phone. Thanks to the people who commented below. Hint: under the bed.
There was an annoying bug in the bathroom - the newspaper next to the toilet bowl. Once you clicked on it, you couldn't click anywhere else other than restarting the game. This piece of newspaper revealed a big clue to the case that was highly relevant to the ending movie.
