***-- City of the Dead is still in Beta, you may experience some problems with mutliplayer and general slowness due to server issues which we are currently resolving and due to it being a fairly 'big' flash game which pushes adobe flash to its limits, also the game may not run very well on older computers, if this is the case with you we apologise. Also if the game is completely unplayable this means our server has crashed, again sorry if this happens.. If you experience a bug please let us know so that we can improve the game --***

City of the Dead is a Real Time Strategy Multiplayer Defence game. The Custom game modes are intended to be the main part of the game, with the campaign mode as an extra/ introduction to each of the game modes. COTD is influenced by Call of Duty World at War's Nazi Zombies and Syndicate Wars and is styled on GTA 1/2.

There are number of tutorials as to how to play the game on the games official website which is up at http://www.cityofthedeadt hegame.com you can also access upto date leaderboards from there also you can create your own maps to defend by going onto the map editor section.

this game is stewpid

it takes so long to connect to a server


the only thing that works is the custom map and the tutorial. It's so hard if you mess up in the beginning your screwed I only got to wave 24

it has potential

the overall idea is good, and the control layout is comfortable. however, the controls themselves are glitchy and argumentative. there is also a weird malfunction/glitch thing that forces the camera to stray off in some random direction. i can see the potential of this game, but it needs tons of work and corrections before it can become a truly playable and enjoyable experience.
