Cyxios paces the halls of his enormous underworld palace. He appears to be speaking to nobody... but a strange, divine presence can be felt. Perhaps it is an embodiment of Kasayel, the great god of bloodshed?

Meanwhile, Chancellus converses with Alerand at The Night Tower, an enormous structure built to guard the mysterious Aphelion Gateway. Chancellus, a winged servant of Kasayel, is becoming restless. He has found a way to exit the tower without leaving it unprotected -- by inhabiting and taking control of a host body. It seems that Alerand is about to become his first host, and several heretics on the nearby mainland are about to die.


"Tower's Tactics: Aphelion" puts you in control of Chancellus and his team of heretic-killing fighters. Battle your way through the enemies to build your team and learn unique skills. Then, fight through arena mode for the high scores!

Quite Clever

I must say, I genuinely enjoyed this game. It reminds me of an RTS with a Final Fantasy Tactics growth system. It's quite the interesting game. You definately deserve a high score, and I hope to see much more in this style.

It's a little hard at some points, but not impossible, which is a good thing to have in a game. It's got a solid story (for those of you who don't care, you can skip it for the most part.) and solid graphics without much slowdown (only slows down usually when you are cornered)

Very well made

I agree with basically everyone here: The game looks great, but sometimes the combat gets tedious when you have to micro-manage the characters; the auto-attack option barely works with ranged chars.

That being said, I did enjoy it for as long as a played it, but kinda called it quits when it froze up at the split-choice mission (backtracking or return voyage). I picked return, and when I complete it (twice I've done it) it locks up at the experience screen- specifically, Alerand (the U/D one) takes up all 4 of my character places, has 999 exp, and is not learning a skill (which he was.) None of the buttons work.

On that note, a warning that it has not been beta tested, or better beta testing, some more rpg elements, and the ability to create macros to use more than one ability would make this an immersive and fun game.

Nice work

I very well realized game. Only reason it didn't keep me playing for long is it's not my kind of game, but it is really good. On top of my mind, first possible improvement that comes out is equipment. I didn't reach far into the game, but from where i got, i found no chance to improve the equipment of the characters. I don't know exactly how the game mechanics are like, but if it's possible to add equipments, i'd say it's worth it.

I didn't care for the game play in this one. It was however well made, the art was done nicely and the music fit the scenes very well. Nicely polished keep up the great work!
