Very interesting exploration game. (But hard)
This is a unique and interesting mix of exploration, puzzle, and adventure games. Of course I had a few frustrations that kept it from getting a 9.
The timer was rather short. I almost feel that this game would be more fun without a timer at all, but if I could explore more than what was at MOST 1/3 of the game before running out of time it would be even better. Maybe an additional 5 minutes on the starting timer and/or an additional 30-60 seconds on the bonus time increments.
The next complaint were the dark portions. The first one with the buttons was interesting if not my cup of tea, but the ones that continued seemingly endlessly without even the buttons for light just got boring. I would suggest reducing the amount of these and/or including an item that lets you see in the dark.
And finally the thing that killed my time the most was that fricken labyrinth. It took me at least 3 minutes to figure out that the stupid doors looped in a non-linear way and another nearly 5 to figure out how to get where I was going. That right there completely made me lose on it's own. Maybe a warning and/or some type of guide to make it easier.
Which brings me to the next point. A map would have been GREAT. Being able to quickly reference where you have been and where your going would cut down alot of the frustration. It also would have made the labyrinth make more sense.
For future suggestions, you might consider Legend of Zelda style upgrades that you could find to permanently increase your abilities instead of just temporary while carrying items. An increase item carrying capacity would be a great start.
Thanks for the great game, hopefully we will see more of your fine work in the future.
