A simple, straightforward game about memory, patterns, and timing.

More than anything, it is an experiment with creating a sense of atmosphere using only a few simple elements, but you might find it to be an entertaining diversion.

(Speculation about the various possible meanings of the title is left as an exercise to the player.)

Choose between "Instant Mode" and "Memory Mode" from the main menu.

In Memory Mode a pattern of arrows will appear in red. Once the pattern is finished, you must enter the same sequence of arrows (using the arrow keys). If you enter the sequence correctly, you will score a point; if you make a mistake the game will end! The pattern will increase in length after every point earned.

In Instant Mode a single arrow will appear on the screen and begin to fade out. You must press the corresponding arrow key before the arrow disappears. Each correct keypress will bring you closer to the top of the mountain (and to scoring a point); press the wrong key, or allow the arrow to fade away, and the game will end! After each point earned the arrows will fade more quickly, and more matches will be required to scale the mountain.

That was pointless

Whats the point of a game that provides no indication that its began! you click play its ends unless you have one hand on the keyboard and the other on the mouse to click play!!!!!! its just common sense to tell people that the game has begun. A notice to say get ready at least may actually make this game playable. I think youve seriously deminished your target audience by making the first levels too difficult. People need to be enticed by at least one semi easy level.

great game, simple and addictive.
woop! im top of the table on instant mode atm with level 21 :D

Well done game.
Even if I fail at it. :D
Still great graphics, good game play, and fun.
Only thing it needs is some addictive techno music.
