It was dull.
It was dull. The controls were annoying and the life system was almost as frustrating as the game play. Also, why would you put a time limit in the tutorial level? Some instructions instead of a tutorial level next time. There should also be more power ups. Like an increase time, extra shot, or limited invincibility. Good try though.
There is no time limit in the tutorial, there is only a timer that does not kill you if time runs out. This is to prepare you that there will be time limit when you play the real missions. Of course you would know this if you read the actual text that comes along with the tutorial. Your other suggestions are good and I will probably apply them in a sequel. Except for the invincibility. No invincibility for you.

Some good ideas...the destructive wall element is cool, particularly.
I think the thing holding the game back for me was the movement a bit...bouncing of walls like the guy below says would have improved it. Purhapes a tad more acceleration on your speed too. (but, naturaly, slowing down quicker too).
