good effort
looks like you've got the basics of flash down...and that's always a good thing!!
but thing is, this exhibition is more of an exercise than a true submission to newgrounds.
Believe me, I know how it is! lol

I made this at a technology camp over the summer, and it came out pretty well. What do you guys think? Keep in mind that this video is the result of the very first time ever using any sort of animation application. Constructive criticism is welcome. Credit to Stage 3-1 for the song.

looks and feels the same but it lags when you're about to reach the top and somehow it get's frustrating.

Poor animation, I suggest that you make it longer, the blocks smaller, add a different techno song because it doesn't sound that good, and if you'd like I could maybe record one for you, um.. Yeah otherwise that was alright...

It sounds like you only reviewed so you could advertise your "ability" to make music. If you want people to ask you to make music for them, go in the audio forums.
Good animation
It shows a good display of animation. Other than that it's pretty basic looking. Needs some kind of background, or something to interest, plus its pretty short.
not a failure, but not a winner too
3 points:
1: NEED A PLOT. I know that create a storyline whit a bunch of tetris blocks may be hard, but almost everything is possible whit imagination. I know that you did that in a technology camp, and maybe hav'nt the time to do more, but next tiem, create an animating with a plot.
2: TOO SHORT. Again, I know that you maybe didn't have time to do your animation, but it was too short. If you can do it longer, it will be nice.
3: DIVERSITY. Do something that no one did before. That should interest more people...
