Weeeell, this is my third flash game that I've made. Again, for an assignment for my flash gaming class at IUPUI. I'm still really new to flash, so I while I would like critique on the game, please try not to be too harsh, and stick more to giving me hints and tips on animation or code. I realize it's a breakout, and it isn't the funnest thing in the world, but this is the format we had to use in class. Also, I have an issue with un-hit blocks staying on screen after the game is over. If anyone could help me figure this out, that would be fantastic. Thanks. :]

Click to play in a pop up window if the game is too long to see on the screen.

its iight..

its not that bad doe, its jus hard ta keep da ball ding up XD...

Kinda rough to play.

The edges of the paddle, ball, and blocks is pretty ambiguous. I really had trouble trying to direct the ball over to the right side of the screen, and could not seem to hit it when it was at the extreme left margin. The whole game seems to be visable when played in a popup window.

I couldn't play it. I didn't know how. O.o

CutelilDeadGirl responds:

There's a Start and Story button at the bottom, but it seems that the height of my game is too big for Newgrounds...I'm not sure how I can fix that because if I resize my game everything will be in the wrong dimensions. :| I realized that too when I tried to go and play it...

Not bad for your third flash

For all, who don´t know how to play this game, when the the first screen shows up, right-click and press "play". Now to the game itself. I recognized, that the "paddel" sometimes didn´t work. The ball went right throw it.
For your third flash, it isn´t bad :).

CutelilDeadGirl responds:

Yeah, the paddle is having an issue with most likely the checks in the code. It shouldn't be a design flaw because I made an invisible barrier behind the hand for the ball to hit. I highly need improvements on my code...
Also, there is a Start button. >_>
But it gets cut off of the screen because of the window size. -_-

How do you play?

It looks like a wonderful game, but I'd like to know how to play it.
