Nice name?
The name is pretty irrelevant. I'd prefer a comic of this, it could be shortened to 3 if the guy came over and said whats wrong straight away!
its still pretty good to see an "animated comic" thats really what i have to start doing.

So, last submission got blammed, cause admittedly, it was crap. It didn't really add anything. So behold, Pilot episode of "Portals and Cheese". It's simply animated and it has no voice actors *not yet*, but it's in the planning :).
World of warcraft trademarked by Blizzard and such.

The point of this name is, well, there is no point! It popped in my head and I liked it. As the name is random, so will the animated comics be.
I don't think a normal comic would work for me, because, see response below as well, I would find it "too" simple then. I'm not saying it's overly awesome, but I do like the style I'm using for this one :). Though who knows I might do something more comicwise regarding this. Personally I don't think it would work for me :D. I guess with voice actors it will be different as well :).

But couldn't it have just been a comic? Your art's pretty good though. I guess it would be a LOT better with voice actors, (YEs, I read the Authors Comments) so I'll keep an eye out for the next one!

Nope it couldn't be just a comic. If it was a comic it would be "too" simple in my eyes. I will probably work on some side project for a comic *got 5 chapters*, but that's more into drama. This style is meant to be simplistic so that the animations will be easy for me to do as well. As I'm aiming to do one episode every week. :)
I will do another side project with better animations when I find the time :). And yes, voice actors in the next episode ;). Will probably reupload this one when my friends are available to do the voices as well.
Seemed more like an automatic comic
Its just as you described it. Animation was simple but the characters and background were well drawn and colored. I didn't find the joke that funny, but since the guy below me thinks it was decent, other people probably think so too.
Your on the right track here. Keep at it

Thanks for your remark about the characters and background. The joke wasn't overly funny I admit. Especially if you think it through it doesn't make sense. Since he wanted half of the profit. I blame me being bad in maths for that one, even though it's a common 'scam' :). Guess it also depends on if you see it as scam or not. I probably would if it happened to me ;).

I'm glad it made you smile :). It was just a improvisation one. I got so excited of finishing some toons and wanted to test them in a simple animation, see if the joke would be enough to make the animations not be in the biggest thing so to say.
