Follow the tale of Sirtom93, the precocious scamp who threatened to burn down his school over the newgrounds forums, then DeckHeadTottie gave the popo a heads up and Sirtom got his ass handed to him by the police.
Not familiar with the incident? Rig has graciously covered every step of it for you.
This better not get blammed
Cause although it was short, i really loved it. The music set the mood, the petrol game was well thought up, and i thought it was a good all round rpg. Just way too short. Next time, hopefully there will be one, make it longer. And only longer. Its fine as it is, in my opinion
Search space seems a bit large
I wandered around for a while and didn't really see what I was supposed to do or get any rewards. In the old monkey island games that were a little similar to this the player would pretty much immediately have something that drew his/her attention right in the first screen. Also, the area where you could go was relatively small so you didn't spend too much time on false leads. I made it to the shop where I needed money but in my walk I hadn't seen anything that would give me clue where to get it and I didn't want to walk all the way back and explore every single possibility.
Also, on UI I suggest making it so you don't have to press space for the dialogs. Just click to close them so the only thing the user needs to do the whole game is click the mouse.
I'll try and change it so clicking also works.
First few minutes I was tempted to turn off the game and blam it. Something, I'm not sure what, caused me to keep going. I would say other than how the overall mood is "blah," the petrol game was the redeeming part.
fun little game
I wish those achievments were real though, bahh. I liked the nicely repetitive music.
Really nice game, like the style. The one thing I found slightly annoying though was going from one screen to another, especially through doors.
very entertaining though, I love the mini game bit with the man on the garage roof.
