OK, lets try that again.
What I meant to say before (in the review you was removed) is that this flash was submitted before but the original is no longer in the portal. This would suggest that the appropriate action has been undertaken, and as it did not meet the minimum standard for inclusion in the portal it was removed (i.e. blammed). Resubmitting a blammed flash goes against the spirit of NG and is a waste of time, both for your self and for the good people who take time out of their day to watch and review it.
As for the flash itself, I see no reason why it should stay on NG. It brings no new ideas and is not an improvement on the original. The graphics are unimaginative and the lack of sound detracts from the game play. I understand that you were probably trying to stay true to the original, but you have to expect that 25 years on, the game does not live up to the basic level of playability of today's game consumer. This is my opinion; I have a right to it whether you agree or not. I make no claims about being 'right'.
While you should be proud of your ability to make flash, it is not necessary to upload every scrap of work you do. This is the public domain. If you put your works on display you must expect criticism. And as a 'creator', you should understand that the criticism is directed at your works (not you), and is based on the viewers opinions and prejudices. You must impress the first 200 people who see and vote on your work on NG in order to pass the Portal. If you fail, don't resubmit the same thing. Try harder and understand that it is not an insult for people to have differing opinions to yours.
I am not insulted that you deleted my review. It was crass, poorly thought out and added nothing of value. Thank you for removing it so that I could have a chance to do it properly. I hope you take this in the spirit of constructive criticism in which it is delivered.
