BItmap TD+

Following feedback from my first game, Bitmap Turret Defence, this is an improved version with new effects, map and some new monsters. PLUS the all new Anti-matter bomb! Bitmap TD + uses bitmap strip animation for speed, and features monsters from some of my favourite games from days gone by.. see if you can spot them :)

nice and simple

it worked but it felt a bit too personal, i have found that only a few TD games have been able to pull off the whole "i'm the designer talking to you warning you about the next wave and making a small joke" thing. apart from that its quite nice and smooth, needs a bit more of a buy factor seeing as i got to level 5 with 2 basic turrets and then after you warning even then they were able to take out anything that was flying, maybe try and make them a tad stronger so you don't have to to buy a laser at level 5. :P

nice hand drawn feel and nice use of retro monsters, if you could make the rest of it as retro and get rid of the back drops that change every now and then it could be a really good game. :)

heh

"where did your other cannon go?"
"sold it for the anti-air."
"well now your screwed!"

amazing!!!

A lot better than the first one, and cant even begin to tell you how many things were so much better than the first one.10/10 and 5/5

ps. were some of the enemys from zombie tower defence?

Aforshaw responds:

Thanks for the comments :) The zombies (and many of the other characters) are from Blake Stone, and some of the fx and flying enemies are from R-Type and Metal Slug (2 of my fave shooters).
