Well i can't say i understand but then again i have never played Chrono Trigger
Still it looks very promising so you get a good rating.

Good animation, Bad story.

Audio - Just some half-baked sound effects, no music. You could really improve this point.
Graphics - The sprites are really good and they move swiftly through the screen, but you could make everything go a little slower, for the animation to be more clear. Also, you could work over that portal 0_0
Story - Really, a flash need a good story. You could try making things go a little slower (I know it will be more difficult to animate, but...) for ppl to understand the story, and you should also try to write a script (not AS -_-) to your story before making the flash. I heard that it helps a lot.
Overall - You could improve the story a lot, make some scenes slower and put some music / more enjoyable sound effects. The graphics are a good example of good sprite animation, and I would really enjoy it if you could get this flash to be better ^-^.

What little there was ... was confusing. Excellent sprite work but was there a story? The story needs work. Aside that it has potential.
