Nice
[Update]: Wow, Apple actually did create an iPad.. maybe I should sue them for infringing on the name? =P
Actually.. maybe taking on a multi-billion dollar corporation with my crappy little Flash demo isn't such a good idea... hehe
----
This was one of my first flash projects from my first year at uni.. quite some time ago, and still relatively early in my learning of Flash.
The project was to document a space, and create a flash slideshow. I thought this was reeeally boring, so instead I created 'The iPad', a scrollable panoramic view of my room at uni.
Not overly impressive by todays standards no, but 5 years ago.... it was still fairly basic =P
Not bad going for a beginner though..
I know it's not the greatest thing ever, but I'd just thought I'd share it (and my miniscule first uni room) with you. ^^
Note: I know it's not very clear at full size, but the picture is actually quite detailed, so if you right click and zoom in, you can see quite a bit..
Nice
YOU PREDICTED THE FUTURE
WOW
I would give it a good grade as well
awsome attempt and again like you said it was your first attempt at a flash project. Its not bad for a begginer at all, in fact if you don't mind I say this is better then some of the advanced. Would have liked more captions but except that Its a 10/10 5/5.
DJ CURT!
Wow thank you! Very kind =]
cool but
a little something else (Depth) would have made this better
True, but I'm not quite sure how that would've been achieved.
It was difficult enough creating the panorama as it was, without a tripod to mount the camera on.. which is why some parts don't join up quite right.
Simple
Nice, and simple. Would have loved if you could have done something else besides scroll around the room. Maybe you should come of with the iPad2, where you could go out of the new pad, and interact with the world, at least to a limited degree. 8/10.
Hehe I wouldn't mind doing something along those lines, although creating an animated, interactive panorama would take a fair bit of planning.. shouldn't be too hard though.. I'll think about it!
There's a limited degree of interactivity already, with the short tooltips that appear over certain items.
It's a minimal piece, but it went far beyond what the project required. I got a good grade =D
