Please note! This is not a game, simply an interactive menu through which you can download all Trigger Ethics episodes.

This interactive flash is your step into the world of the Trigger Ethics and the lives of the people of Pinnacle City. Trigger Ethics is a 7 part radio mini series being played on various stations across the U.S. and the internet. While this mainly contains information about the show, you can also download all 7 episodes from the "Listen" page. I highly encourage you to do so as the entire feature took 2 years and 40 people to get to where it is today!

Trigger Ethics was written by four writers from Allegheny College of varying majors. It was produced on campus by a variety of students and professors. We appreciate your support and hope you take the time to listen!

That was weird

It is kind of strange as to how I should review this one, seeing as how it is technically not a game or cartoon in its own right. This has literally hours (I think) of things to listen to. The menu itself is presented in a fairly nice way. As for the cast themselves, I appreciate all the work you took in to making this. You have a really good voice in these. I like how you manage to have an ongoing story and a narrative almost as though I am listening to an audio book! This may be the first time I ever listened to a submission in an entirely different window.

gumOnShoe, it is always a pleasure.

Gum, it has been too long. A pleasure as always!
------------------

I've only listened to the first episode so far. Sorry I haven't listened to more so far, but it's all I've had time for (and will probably stick around for).

It's a good job overall. The voices are crisp and clear, and the sound effects blend in quite nicely with the rest of the sound. But lines like, "But you didn't hit his vitals on that last one" seem to be a bit un-necessary (I understand that the character seems to have a penchant for detail, but it just seems... odd). What I love about radio shows are that they leave the details up to the imagination. For the most part the program succeeds at that, but there are a few times when it seems to be a bit ridiculous. It's an odd mix.

The opening was by far the most effective part, because we can't be sure exactly how true the whole thing is -- especially after we hear the discussion between the two men regarding his religious fanaticism. It works well.

Good work, shoe! (Just an fyi -- don't expect me to stick around here as an active type. I may be checking in now and then, but I won't ever be as I was -- I will check my PMs though. Cheers!)

gumOnShoe responds:

And of course I took longer to respond to this review than I should have. I hope you found the time to listen to the rest of the episodes or at the least enjoyed the first.

If I ever try this again I will have to do better with the dialogue. A lot of it is cool, but it comes off better when you are reading it than perhaps how it was acted or we just didn't know how to correctly express the characters.

Anyways, I hope you're still checking in from time to time and you get to see this.

Regards as always.

love it

How Do/Can I Put this on my Ipod

gumOnShoe responds:

You have to import it to i-tunes and convert to an mp4. At that point it should be as easy as putting any other song on your i-pod.

I'm a fan

I think the podcast is great and I am so excited for radiogrounds to hear them. So far I've listened to the first episode and I loved it. I am pacing myself now to hear more. I think the writers did a fantastic job of conveying the characters and setting the background for an exciting and gripping story. Personally, I can't wait to meet Roman Hail. I think meeting the psychotic killer will be truly interesting and entertaining. Great job...I'm definitely a fan!

gumOnShoe responds:

Episode 4 or 5. :/ which is it I think its 4 for Hail to really have her go. Anyways, thanks for the outstanding compliments! High praise indeed. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series. XD

Sort of interesting.

Nothing is as interesting to me as a dystopian future. I tried out the first chapter and it was well... mostly interesting. All of the characters seem incredibly flat and predictable and I just can't take the voice of Jack Dreely seriously. Besides the CEO and Dekker I couldn't really hear any emotion in anyone's voice, but then again perhaps being soulless employees of a death dealing company does that to you. I still find the story some what interesting, but I think it would be more enjoyable if I was reading it rather then listening to it.

gumOnShoe responds:

I totally understand, however, you should still give the next few episodes a chance. I promise you it gets better. Most of our actors weren't used to voice acting, as such the first episode didn't turn out perfect, but we all got in to stride later. KEEP GOING FORWARD!
