it is nothing specail although i whould like to see it in the flash tutorial collection so if it helped then submit it there it just explains simple and advanced preloaders in a way wich i hope people will understand and find easy to follow. i used a automatic preloader because i didnt want to waste much time going fancy yeah i know hipocrit and all. but somehow i am sureyou will learn some thing from it and will probably kick yourself from not being able to make a loader when the simplicity is absolute
dont say it doesnt work because that is something you did wrong or a problem with your computer because i followed the tutorial through myself and it worked perfect for me.

Amazing, I had no problems with reading the text. I personally found the text quite clear. Some frames were not so clear, but after a while you get the point. Thanks to this I nearly (quote 'nearly') learnt how to make preloaders. Only nearly cos there was an ActionScript error towards the end and macromedia stopped responding and I sis not save, ActionScript was prob my mistake. But anyway Amazing movie try making a sequel in diffrent colours and a bit more explanatory to silence the others. Thanks for making.

I am not saying it is bad but...
The font is too small, and I don't even know how the **** it passed the judgement session. And you said you will explain it the best you can but I didn't understand a tiny bit. So next time don't be lazy and make the font big, readable and make more frames.

I could be wrong, but....
Back in the old days, if your preloader AND your main content was in the same frame, the preloader wouldn't do anything until the maincontent had loaded (which completely defeats the purpose). I believe you can't have anything other than the preloader animation and the actionscript on the first frame.
Plus, the type was hard to read. Impact, in black on a red background, is not a great choice.
I do appreciate the little status reporter you added to the button, though. Good effort.

Reading black on red background is a real pain for eyes.
Try next time to make the text a little larger and change the background. You will need to put a preloader to your own tutorial, because when I clicked on the X, nothing appeared (besides the text explaining me that I should work).
Not everybody has a good internet connection. This is why preloaders are good.
But I need to say that posting tutorials when you're beginning to learn flash IS A GOOD IDEA! Nothing helps better to learn than learn to others!
