This is the original flash prototype of Closure.
After releasing this here on Newgrounds, we spent 3 years making a bigger and better commercial version of the game from the ground up in a new engine.

It is NOW AVAILABLE ON STEAM and you can check it out here

The new version of the game is better in every single way. The graphics are better, the music is better, the gameplay is smoother, the puzzles are less frustrating (and there's nearly 100 of them!), there's new mechanics, new features, new characters, and hidden silver moths to keep you busy for a long time.

You guys nailed it!

Closure is a beautifully unique idea.

For a game that could have easily been sloppy it had a tight feel to it. You are dealing with single pixels for credible jumping and movement so to have the engine recognize and work with that is fantastic.

It's a very chic game and with it rolling after Aether I am continually being surprised by your ability to go above and beyond. Keep it up.

Additionally, nice job Jon. You did a great job breathing life into this game with subtle but exceptional black and white artwork.

Am I mistaken

Or is the character you play a woman? Great Game. I love it. If you look closely you can see that the main character has long hair. Especially in level 22. And Level 14 is very possible. That guy a few reviews below me is an idiot.

This game takes awhile, but is so worth it to play.

BTW How many levels are there? I got to the mid twenties, but I had to stop.

Throughout my extensive tenure here as a Newgrounds patron I have viewed many works of art, many claim their creation to be groundbreaking never-before-seen strokes of brilliance, few are. I am pleased to say there is a new addition to the greats of Newgrounds.

Simply put, the last 30 minutes of my being have been spent in a dark, ominous, macabre of puzzles that bent the mind to shapes i did not know possible. You and Mr. Schubbe have given birth to a masterpiece that is sure to inspire many artists to attempt similar abstract projects.

Due to the fact that this is a review I must at least attempt to give some form of criticism. After much tedious search I have discovered one minor fault. I have been unable to locate a mute button. Normally I would have no problem, but I just got the new Jedi Mind Tricks album an I'm trying to listen to it as much as possible, is it wrong to experience both at once? (if their was a mute button that I just missed then please ignore this portion of the review)

P.S. Is it normal to have a fear of falling when I can't see the floor? Because I've been trippin' about turning lights off.

I... just... can't... find... anything... wrong...

This will be my first five in an exceptional amount of time. I can't complain about art, style, length, gameplay, originality. I was gonna complain that a game like this would need a save function, but alas when I went back to check there actually was one. I always attempt to leave some level of critisisim so here it is. Make some kind of flaw for me to criticize. Bravo. I am astonished.

Got to into it.

I was walking up the stairs after finally beating this game (it was dark) and I noticed I was subconciously looking down to make sure I didnt fall down, :S
