This was decent and looks like you took a bit of time on this one this was decent, and was ok but could use some more improved interface to it while math is not the fondest of things on the grounds you could spruce up the layout maybe add borders and such for the mostpart it was good Could use colors layouts and new designs

Math quiz flash. Graphics need razzle dazzle and polish to look more professional. Gameplay is very low. There is no action or fun at all. There are no sounds effects or music. This might be okay for educational purposes.

This was made on 1/18/09, and I am only the eighth person to review it.

one problem...

when you get to the 0 x __ = 0 I tried for about a minute and nothing I put in worked...other than that it was a great basic AS project!

Not bad

Reminded me of brain age. The math was challenging to do fast, and the whole idea was kind of fun. Overall it's off to a good start. Definitely need to streamline the art and layout a bit though. Make it more of an environment than buttons glued to a screen, ya know? Good start, keep going.

thanks for the advice!

Well...

I'll cut to the chase, Here's what I didn't like about it:
No music
You have to click check and next whilst being timed
Basic layout
Didn't accept 010 as a valid answer for 10 (a bit petty but that did annoy me a bit)
Same type of sum every time, eg. first 2 runs through were addition, then 2x multiplication, then 1x subtraction (where each answer was a negative).

I've seen maths quizzes done before a lot more professionally, and I think you could do it, with a little more time and perserverence. Work on some of the stuff I've pointed out and the most important of all of them I think is to ditch the check and next buttons, and use enter. (Also, autofocus the cursor in the answer box, saving another click)

theanimator321 responds:

Thanks for the advice! I will try and fix the check button so you can press enter instead of having to click on it and the next button will be improved.
