an animated baroque poem

Nice, original style

It's hard to make a flash without words express feelings, but you did that with the imagery in this movie. A young woman, alone, apparently sitting and waiting in a cold wind, gets a packaged tossed at her - we don't see the sender. She looks more annoyed than happy to get it, and when she opens it, finds seeds. She tosses them in the snow, and even after they've bloomed into a black rose, she ignores it.

My take on it is that the gift is from an ex-lover who wants to try again, but the impersonal attitude (tossing the box, not being seen) doesn't help. The seeds in the box represent the chance to grow the relationship again. She doesn't want it, so she discards the seeds. The black rose symbolizes unrequited love - he lovers her (which is why blooms) but she doesn't feel the same way (why it's black). And she ignores it anyway, still alone and cold in the wind. Sad.

The flash itself was well made, but you might want to work on making it a little less choppy (the hair in the breeze animation loop was a little off), and some of the scene transitions could have been smoother. All minor things - you did a nice job here - and with using any words. Keep up the good work with that talent you have!

Needs work, but it's alright

Your animation was....blocky. The figure *whom sometimes looked like either a girl or boy, i couldn't define it* sometimes changed shape. And one last thing, the music, try to work with it a little bit. It seemed fuzzy sounding, and I know that you can probably make it sound a lot clearer. Keep working!

SERATO responds:

thank you very much by your criticism he is very useful it will take and it into account, that good that you took the time to see it

nice but a bit short

good work on the angle changes during frame by framing, it seemed good. The whole thing seemed a bit short, but I suppose it probably matched the poem you based it on. Either way though, nice work.
