Hey everyone,

Here's our latest game, Time4Cat - at first glance it might appear to be yet another mouse controlled avoidance game, but the twist here is that every time you move, the enemies move along with you. Of course, as the game goes on things get tougher and you will soon start running out of space. Luckily there are powerups which appear every so often to help you out. That's about it really - it's quite a simple, elegant game (we think), and we really enjoyed making it. If you can achieve over 150,000 points then you're doing very well. Thanks for reading and leave us some feedback if you have time. :-)

Cheers,

The Megadev team.

***** UPDATE *****

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who played the game and for all of your great feedback. :-) We were a bit apprehensive before we released the game but it seems to be going down really well, which is very encouraging for us. If anyone would like the music to Time4Cat then it can be found on our website under the games section. Cheers!

Avoider themed flash. Graphics are the best part in this game. Gameplay tends to be very easy, and it can lead to being repetitive.

Poor Catty.

Simple game but fun

So I found this game to be pretty fun the graphics are pretty good with a nice stylistic element about it, you have some nice detail and the game mechanics are pretty impressive and I was pretty happy with how well the controls responded, Onlything I would ad would be some added fancy effects on impact action moments, anyways nice game.

I can tell you why the sequel is not rated as high. It's the whole thing where the author makes something more complicated and puts effort into it to add extra features and bells and whistles and is partial to the extra bells and whistles because of the extra effort he put into making them, but an impartial outside perspective says "no, that complication detracts from the value of the game". There is value to something being simpler. Look at canabalt, for instance. Or this review. A bunch of words, words, words, you don't want to read all that, right? And yet I am describing things in greater detail than someone else might with a simple comment that doesn't really say anything. Did I get my point across? Same thing. No one wants to get into some complicated thing with some unintelligible plot for something like this. Unless you can trick them into thinking it's deep and meaningful with the rigamarole, which is a possibility, it's not going to work for anyone. And the one bit of meaning there might be was already present in THIS game. Here we have a bunch of callous pedestrians who will gladly step on the cat. It's a statement about the world. And a more concise statement than the sequel.

The cat walking and then like a little trail behind him is AMAZING! then depending on the speed you're going that's how fast the people move!!! This game is AWESOME!!!
