Like my comment on EW1, this isn't feedback as the game is dead as hell lol, plus some features were polished/removed in later games. This is just letting new players know what to expect!
Pros:
-Phenomenal story. 6th-sage did a very good job on the plotline (I say "line" loosely) and it's genuinely interesting, and makes it stand out from every other EW game. Obviously the later games have "premises" they base the story on, but here, there's actual dialogue, characters, and I guess character development? Most of the game is, well, a game, so it isn't the main focus but it's a driving force to complete every last level.
-AUTO FIRE!!! Firing the arrows last game was a massive pain. But here, you just press 0, and bam! No sore fingers needed!
-The multiple races and their elements let you experiment massively with how to complete levels and find a playstyle that suits you.
Cons:
-Entity count limit is wayyyy too high. If you have like, a giga uber turbo computer or something, this could be used as a benefit but ultimately it just makes for lag. Also, you can spam certain units and insta-win, which, if you want a challenge, ain't so keen.
-The plot splits between two different perspectives early on, which makes it extremely hard to follow for that period. Eventually it joins up again but it's jarring and ultimately just muddles the story.
-Healers/Clerics either only heal themselves or need to be literally exploded onto friendly units in order to heal them. I'm not sure which it is, but both are equally useless.
