Nice for a one-shot

Didn't find any bugs and it's quite nice for a score-comparison game. However, I'd play this once and forget all about it. It needs more levels, or a better explanation of scoring. I got second place on the scoreboard by moving my mouse in swift circles, let's have some strategy :D Even a story or background would greatly improve it, whether it be about viruses, aliens, monster populations or jam-related evolution experiments.

Keep going with it, man.

Instrustionless and unchallenging

While the immediate game response is obvious - touching circles deflates and respawns them - you need to tell me this so I do not waste the first seconds wondering what to do or why to care. Further, I did not intuitively know the game was timed for a little bit. State the conditions/rules of the game either in the author comments or on the menu screen.

I didn't care because the spheres gave the same point whether huge or small. Not everyone is a grindwhore for personal points, so different performance demands a different game response. Traditionally this means either a game reaction or a public scoreboard. Powerups flowing from performance are a positive game reaction to player skill.

However, that requires the game differentiate between 'catching' a big or a small circle. One fashion is to award progressively less points the longer a circle is on the screen (because it is easier to hit). Alternatively, the game can change its own behavior in response to player performance, ala powerups or changing the sprite behavior. The most important game changes involve either slowing the clock or the rate of circle expansion.

In changing the behavoir in response to player performance, the game acheives a level of meaning.

well I doubt this is yours due to a generic and non-NG preloader, not to mention its locked for a specific ammount of time. If it's your game and you're being taught what's with the submit highscore thing going on. and if you CAN program a highscore it should be just as easy to program a unique preloader and some sound. (< I read the description <).

as for the game itself I find it to kinda boring, especially with no sound of any kind. I don't get the deal with balls growing bigger if it doesn't affect the game except make things easier to pick up.

once, twice, but after that

for playing it once or twice its good, next time, add music in it and tingle sound when you hit a bubble:) though, good job, maded 138 points as i just used the mouse go crazy on the screen:P
