"I Fell in Love With The Majesty of Colors" is a pixel-horror game that puts the player behind the tentacles of a titanic, writhing sea creature. It's a tale of love, loss, and balloons with five different endings. Will you befriend the humans or fight them? The choice is up to you.

This game was inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and Daniel Benmergui's "I Wish I Were the Moon." For my blog and podcast, check out .

Newgrounds denizen Wormie made fan art for the game, which you can see at http://dangertable.devian

Amazing concept

It truly is.
The concept is interesting, and the execution is fun. The style of the game leaves a certain mood which is oh-so-rare in the flash game realm. Game play is so simple that it seems to be lacking, but it fits perfectly with the style of the game. The five separate endings make the game (it would be a tenth of the game it is now if it only had one ending....the fact that the player's actions have different repercussions give the game another dimension, and give the game its emotional weight--if you'll forgive me the use of the word "emotional").
The only issue I see is the premise of the balloons. Although seeing the balloons and falling "in love with the majesty of colors" is a great idea, I can't bring myself to believe that the creature has never seen people before, and has never before questioned the existence of humans or his interaction--or lack thereof--with them.
At any rate, you've made a great game. The game has transcended entertainment and entered the realm of art. Good job.

Beautiful and moving

The diction of this was marvelous, and I am extremely impressed. This game strikes a chord within me... as perhaps the most moving flash I've ever encountered.

10 of 10 and 5 of 5.
