What I find amazing is the thought put into this.
Including the ending escape scene.
Each part of that is a part from the First Step where Doki shows her thoughts on romance.
Not quite the same settings but the same actions.
Each movement and shown emotion throughout the entire series.
I don't understand any of the music but it still portrays the correct emotions.
Each face shown tells the story just as the color and settings.
I've watched the whole thing many times over. I by no means will stop.
None of this can age. The words (as it lacks any that can) will not age or become meaningless.
The art is simple enough to not become old because the style is its own.
The story is one that will always cause emotions to those that watch it.
Even if they don't know the pain.
Full rating, every time.
This entire series is fairly young and considered a Newgrounds classic for a reason.
Each step got better than the last, and the animation quality was really good for the early 2000s. The message it conveys isn't pretentious. It's a message about taboo love and how a bunny and a cat just want to be together, but even their supporters are keeping them from loving one another due to unintentionally standing in the way (most of the time, literally.)
The continuation from step2 in the last few minutes and the timing of the music flow together so well.
I'd say this would be a highly reccomended viewing for anybody coming onto this website for the first time, whether a user or just as a guest like I was when I first saw this series.
Whether or not you can read this, SamBakZa, you've created something wonderful.
This was Excellent , the content was awesome, the music as fantastic ... that's coming from an old rocker here ... Keep up the great work
I loved this entire series. Each step was better than the last. Truly beautiful.
Majestic as f*ck. No seriously this was beautiful. Liked every bit of this. It's the best film I've ever seen. Better than breaking bad better than Madness and better than birth of a nation.
