Has issues, but overall good

Better than the first, although there were some jumping issues (yeah, I know everyone's saying this already), which, unfortunately, was what most of the actual gameplay consisted of. I would've liked a little more combat rather than platforming, but graphics were solid and story and characters were good. One other thing, at one point I jumped in a vertical air vent thing and went so high I hit the ceiling. Instead of just bumping my head, however, I just went through it and kept on going. I landed in the black area I think, but I couldn't do anything and had to close the game to fix it. Might wanna look into that. Other than that, enjoyable game, and don't let my verbosity sound like criticism. XD Enjoyable, but somewhat short and a little marred with control issues. 7/10 for you.

I have only a few complaints.

The Save button that appeared in the menu after a death didn't seem to do anything, which was disappointing.
The jumps weren't as bad as people have said. It added an element of challenge to the game.
And it's kind of annoying when the view doesn't pan with the jump and you can't see where you're about to land.

Overall, I really enjoyed the style. The storyline was entertaining, and the world you created was very interesting.

Great Story

I love this game, tried to play the first and realized that this one is far superior in quality as well as everything else. Only complaint, like every one else, the jump. I got used to it and became a master at it so after I adapted the game became fun as hell. The controls I liked, simple and effective. The artistic style is cool, the gray and black earthy tones beautiful would love to see a little more detail in the characters like black figures with white to show their features. All in all I liked it a lot and can not wait to see the third.

Stopped Early

Couldn't make it beyond the Escape portion - due to absolutely game-eating awful jump programming.
You can't have platforming in a game where your character jumps so badly.

Also irked by the idea that when I nudge the side of the spikes (where I'm pretty sure they're not pointy), I immediately die; also the fact that I kept falling through the world, and getting glitched out.

Also, really getting tired of these black detail-less platformers. They look nice in concept, but really, they just come off as detail-less and lazy, no matter how much work was put into this game.

Good luck with the inevitable sequel.

P.S. Zelda rip-off is probably illegal. You should change that before you get sued.
