This is a simple game, that was originally made by Chris Pirih, and later put into the Microsoft entertainment pack. The game still has many fans, including me. But yet, I couldn't find a flash version of it anywhere... I contacted Chris Pirih, and asked him if it was legal for me to remake it. He said it was fine as long as I gave him credit for the graphics.

The original game has more features. You can download it by clicking on the download link in the game

In the real game, the Yeti isn't actually supposed to be just the end of the game like a time limit. You can actually hit F to go faster and escape him. This one doesn't work like that, which makes it disappointing and a bit annoying when you get to 1500 distance and can't continue. Oh well, I guess. I wish there was an exact version like the old one I could play on a site without having to download a zip or exe, which I won't do. I wanted to try my skills at escaping the yeti today, but this one doesn't let you do that, though. Close, but not quite there, heh. It's alright, though.

Not a bad game, not a good one

It's nowhere near as good as the original (where is the monster that we all loved?) but it's still worth a play if you're on a mac and can't get the original.

Wheres Blik?

Why would you remake Skii free without blik? If anything you should have added blue blik.

Zoranan responds:

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that this is still a work in progress... I told Chris that I wanted to make this over a year ago, but I wasn't able to. Now that my flash skills improved I was able to make it. I uploaded it early so that Chris could get a look at it... I DO plan on adding blik

Shell of a copy. Where is the speed up? Where are the tricks in the air? Lame.

Doesn't hold a candle to the real thing

First, that music is annoying as hell... I enjoyed the real one with no sounds or music. Second, I can't do any tricks on it like I could the real one. Third, I can't choose which challenge I wish to follow.

I would hardly call this a "remake" since it's essentially a crippled version of the game complete with added annoying music, which is why I rated it a 1. However, I will give it two extra points based on the fact there's a link to the Ski Free website, where at least we can download the real version.
